“I met Dr. Sarah Lawson when I purchased some Ideal Protein dietary product through her office. I asked her if she had any recommended treatment for hip and glute pain that I was experiencing. I had recently been diagnosed with tears to my left labrum and glute, and did not want to get surgery or have a hip replacement. I could no longer run; walked with a limp; and could not sleep on my side due to the pressure to my hips.
Dr. Lawson immediately observed a rightward lean to my posture and did an alignment to my spine and hips. After several sessions of ultrasound, electrical impulse, stretching and alignments, I am now pain free, walk without a limp and sleep on my side. The dietary product, by the way, along with Dr. Lawson's guidance, quickly took 22 pounds off of me, which has stayed off.
Thank you Sarah, for giving me my life back. ”

Dr. Lawson has two beautiful young children and enjoys her family life in the western suburbs. She continues to enjoy various types of exercise in her spare time including Bikram Yoga.

Dr. Sara Lawson is amazing! Very Very highly recommended! I have already had excellent success regarding my ankle problem. Came back for hip problems - she is extremely thorough and conscientious with her modalities to help the healing process. Very concerned with looking at all options to help. Also , Deena and V are phenomenal at stretch therapy and massage. The overall vibe of the office is healthy, healing and even a little fun !!!!

I have had just about every service they offer at Active Health. I think they offer an excellent standard of care. Very friendly and efficient but mostly my treatment has been very effective! At the beginning of this summer, my hip and low back were tight and painful and after just a few weeks of treatment I was back to my very active self. I 100% recommend everyone at this practice!

I highly recommend Active Health Chiropractic. Over the years, I’ve seen both Dr. Lawson and Dr. Krueger for back and knee issues, and they’ve consistently provided thoughtful, effective care. Their office is conveniently located on the first floor, making visits easy and accessible.
Both doctors are excellent listeners who quickly put you at ease. I’ve always felt supported and confident in their treatment plans. In addition to chiropractic care, I’ve also had massages at their clinic. The massage therapists are fantastic—skilled at creating a relaxing experience while also addressing specific areas of tension.
If you’re looking for a team that’s professional, attentive, and truly committed to your well-being, Active Health is a great choice.

The space is very lovely, calming and clean. Dr Sarah, Dr Dave and their staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Dr Sarah really listened and took time to discuss approaches to my issues and seemed genuinely concerned about my comfort. I had no problem scheduling sessions to fit my schedule. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr Sarah’s since 2019. Together we have corrected and eliminated my neck and shoulders pain. Dr Sarah has also counseled and overseen seen my significant weight loss with the Ideal Protein program. I highly recommend her for individual counseling and guidance.

I am lucky enough to have been treated by Dr. Sarah and Dr. Dave. They are both very kind, patient, and skilled.
I have seen them for routine chiropractic adjustments, vertigo, and now TMJ.
The office also has a great front desk staff, 2 wonderful massage therapists and a fabulous stretch therapist.
From the greeting at the door to the exceptional care you receive, Active Health makes you feel comfortable and cared for.

Both doctors are amazing. They have helped my knees and hips through 5 marathons, rotator cuff surgery, and lower back pain. I have been seeing them or years. They have great massage therapist and the bonus is that you can pick up tasty high protein snacks there too. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming.
