About Sarah Schmid
Sarah is a board certified Physician Assistant and native Vermonter. She joins Connolly Dermatology following a twelve year active duty career in the United States Coast Guard, serving at duty stations in Connecticut, California, Texas, Washington DC, and New Jersey. As a military medical officer, she provided a broad range of care to service members, including deploying to five continents and practicing as the lone health care provider in austere environments at sea. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Coast Guard Academy and Master of Science Degree from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program. Now happily residing in Cape May County, she brings her unique perspective and experiences to treating patients at Connolly Dermatology. Sarah performs skin cancer screenings with a focus on prevention and early detection, manages acute and chronic skin conditions, and offers evidence-based skin care guidance.
