“I've been to my fair share of doctor's appointments over the years... this is a really well run office from the front desk staff (fast, friendly and efficient) to the nurses (nice and friendly) to Dr Patel. This was my first visit with him and he was very caring and listened to all my concerns. He spent the time with me to fully explain everything and make me feel at east (not always an easy thing). The off is so nice and stylish, it feels more like a spa then a doctor's office.”

Dr. Satya Patel is a dedicated Family Physician with a passion for patient care, offering not only medical expertise but also mentorship and a listening ear. Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Patel and his family moved to Arizona in 2015 to escape the cold winters. He is fluent in Gujarati and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as staying active through weight training and hiking.
Dr. Patel earned his MBBS in Chennai, India, before completing his residency at St. John Hospital in Detroit, MI, in 2009. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and maintains lifelong certification. He has extensive experience in both outpatient and inpatient medicine and served as a medical director before returning to full-time patient care.
With excellent communication and listening skills, Dr. Patel takes a holistic approach to patient care, building lasting relationships with those he treats. Outside of medicine, he enjoys collecting coins and stamps.

I will say everyone was extremely friendly and professional including my Doctor. I had no issues with insurance, staff, or office cleanliness.
My poor rating has everything to do with how my Doctor dismissed appointment before I got through necessary medical discussion and evaluation. I have four major medical topics I have to get through and get referrals for multiple issues and we only did two before he ended my appointment and walked out. I made it relatively clear I had more to discuss and was surprised by the dismissive behavior beforehand and throughout the visit,
Never got all my referrals through so I had to call my old office to try and get them sent through them. Needless to say I will not be back, I was born with my conditions and have extensive experience in and out of hospitals and medical offices. I have never had this happen to me.

April 2025 – This was my first experience with this doctor and it wasn’t a great fit for me personally. Specifically, with the issues I was experiencing and the treatment plan that was put into place to support my whole wellbeing.

I first Met Doc Patel at village medical Plaza then he moved over to IMS and they continued to follow him to the fact that I think he’s a really good doctor and he is easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him.?
