Dr. Sean Gocke completed a three year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois in June 2009. He has extensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology, including diabetic wound care and surgery, sports medicine, elective bone and soft tissue surgical procedures, bunions, hammertoes, tarsal tunnel release, fractures and trauma, Achilles tendon and ankle pathology, orthotics and bracing, among other foot and ankle disorders. Dr. Gocke was awarded first place in the 2009 International Post-Graduate Research Symposium at the Midwest Podiatry Conference in Chicago for his original research on the subject of hallux valgus. Dr. Gocke also has been published in peer-reviewed foot and ankle journals for his work.

This was my first visit to the office. Dr. Gocke saw me within 15 mins. of the appointment. He was very professional, listened to what I was saying, presented a great bedside manner, diagnosed my neuropathy, and provided a reasonable course of action. We will watch my progress starting with orthotics before any jumping into any more dramatic steps. I felt comfortable and confident that Dr. Gocke knows what he is doing. 5 Star review for sure!

I went to Dr. Gocke for a second opinion about my foot problem re. difficulty in walking. Registration with Zocdoc was very easy and shortened the paperwork when I arrived in the office. Dr. Gocke is a good listener. Took the time to carefully understand and answer my questions. Very knowledgeable. As a registered nurse I have high expectations for my health care providers and was very satisfied with this physician's approach. Would definitely recommend him to family and friends.

I went to Dr. Gocke to get a 2nd opinion on a surgery my other foot doctor was pushing - boy was I glad I met him! He did a thorough assessment of my feet and offered alternative treatments as well as very inexpensive, temporary orthodontics. The waiting room and office is a bit dated but the entire staff from the front desk to the nurse were all very friendly. I would recommend Dr. Gocke.

The doctor was amazing and very apologetic regarding his tough day getting behind. The receptionist and nurse could have been more helpful in letting us know how far behind he was while we were waiting and the zocdoc appt was not in the system

Dr. Gocke was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, and so was the staff. I appreciated being able to register and complete new patient documents online. Dr. Gocke was very thorough and addressed all of my issues. He made a suggestion for how to handle the nerve pain in my toes, and we talked about follow-up to see if the suggestion was helpful.

My appointment with Dr. Gocke was perfectly fine, but I was disappointed by the office staff. I called Friday morning and left a message to schedule an appointment and asked to have someone call me back. No one did. I called again Monday morning to schedule an appointment and left a message to have someone call me back, and no one did. Finally, I booked an appointment on their website and received an immediate call to confirm my appointment. The office was open Friday, Saturday and Monday. Why didn't anyone answer the phone or call me back?

The office didn't have the online registration forms I had completed through ZocDoc, but after calling ZocDoc, they were able to pull off the forms. I believe they were using an old password.
