Dr. Darshan Nagesh, DPM, CWS, is a highly skilled foot and ankle surgeon at Great Lakes Foot and Ankle Institute in Oak Lawn, Illinois. With a focus on patient education and tailored treatment plans, he provides expert care in areas such as foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine, and complex surgical procedures.
Dr. Nagesh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois – Chicago and a Master of Science in Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology from Rush University. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Rosalind Franklin University, where he was awarded multiple scholarships and honors. His residency training at Jesse Brown Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Chicago provided him with extensive experience in complex foot and ankle surgeries, followed by a fellowship in Europe under leading experts in the field.
