What should a new client know about working with you?

Initial evaluation is a 90 min process where we discuss in detail your symptoms, past treatment history, medication history, family and social history. We also evaluate you using standardized inventories for several common psychiatric conditions. Afterward, I will discuss with you my diagnostic impression and design a treatment plan with you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I do both talk therapy and prescribe medications, including buprenorphine and depot injections such as Vivitrol, Sublocade and Brixadi. Talk therapies include several modalities, from time-limited, behaviorally driven programs lasting a few months, to open-ended exploratory treatment that focuses on insight and personality change.
