My background spans outpatient psychiatry, integrated family medicine, women's health, and telehealth. I've cared for patients navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, burnout, hormonal shifts, substance use, and major life transitions. I was trained to look at the full picture — mental and physical health are deeply connected, and I draw on both to help patients understand the root contributors to what they're feeling, not just the surface symptoms. I also incorporate ketamine-assisted therapy and integrative, lifestyle-focused care for those looking beyond conventional medication management. As a Black woman in medicine, I carry a personal awareness of how often patients are rushed, dismissed, or made to feel unheard. That shapes everything about how I show up for the people in my care. Outside of work, I'm a mother, a wife, and someone who loves to travel, be outdoors, and keep learning. Becoming a parent deepened my empathy in unexpected ways — especially for women silently balancing careers, relationships, and caregiving while running on empty. I understand that weight, and I bring it into every appointment.
