After seeing many other doctors who treated me like a guinea pig, having me try so many different medications, Dr. Mosovich was able to get it right. It's been such a relief to finally be on the right path. Everyone in the office is very kind, accessible, and appointments are always punctual. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mosovich to friends or family.
Professional & easy to reach. Willing to work with & check up on patients to make sure treatment plan is best for them. Definitely recommend!

Judgemental over everything. Made me feel like I was both psychotic and a disgusting human being. Not very helpful, either.
Dr. Mosovich is very knowledgeable and made me feel quite comfortable. He walks you through every aspect of treatment.
I really enjoyed my time with Serge. He was lovely and took the time to get to know me. He generally cared.
He's definitely very experienced. I think his diagnosis was absolutely accurate, which I found reassuring.
Mr. Mosivich was excellent. I'll certainly be returning. He's firm but fair and a very good listener.
Wonderful Doctor- saw me without delay and has been extremely helpful! Would recommend to anyone.
He was very judgemental about past life choices. Not something I look for in a psychiatrist.
Dr Mosovich saw me right away. The only reason I had to wait was because I was early.
Dr. Mosovich is a great doctor who does everything he can to help his patients!
Dr. Mosovich was very clear, helpful, and knowledgeable. I would recommend him.
He was impatient. I would not recommend him. I was afraid to talk to him.:(
Great support and advice received from Dr. Mosovich. Highly recommended.
He was awesome !! Super friendly and could read me really quick. Thanks!
Very warm and friendly, felt immediately comfortable with him.
He really takes his time to listen to your concerns.
Very easy to talk to, knowledgeable and personable.
Dr. Takes time to listen and do not rush ! Great!
I was looking for an new psychiatrist to start new. I wasn't going to leave my other psychiatrist before establishing with someone else because i was on a medication and i couldn't get off from it abruptly. he accused me of wanting to play him and get medication from him. It was the most humiliating thing ever. I had already decided to stay with him and never went back to my old. He waited to meet with me to accuse me.. it was terrifying... still to this day I am blown away.. and now thinking this is a very narcissistic move. Never again. I don't recommend and i felt bad because he reminded me of my grandfather - like a family member. Just humiliating beyond.

Dr. Mosovich is amazing! Easy to talk to and gets to the point. Very supportive and professional. Follows through and follows up. Easy to schedule appointments. Most positive psychiatric experience I’ve found.

Dr Mosovich is highly experienced, and spent more than an hour with me during our initial consultation. He asked many questions in order to hone in on his hypothesis, and recommended therapy in my case. I am relieved at that outcome, and will follow his advice.
PLEASE don't read the good reviews-- this doctor is quite bad. I was a new patient that has been struggling with anxiety, random nervous system reactions and a phobia (never seen a professional about this because it has been very mild my whole life until now). This doctor was not only rude, judgmental and forgetful but he also made me cry multiple times in the meeting. I told him about my phobia and he printed out a photo of it and shoved it in my face and told me he had never heard of it and said I must be "really whacky". I'm a perfectly normal person living in NYC just trying to better my mental health and this man made me feel like a crazy monster who couldn't be helped. He also took multiple calls during our time together which all resulted in him screaming at the person on the phone. He spent 15+ minutes of time I paid for complaining to me about his others patients. My parents are doctors so I understand everyone has their days but this was notably bad.
Professional and personable, he is thorough and also informative—explained everything thoroughly and made sure that I wasn’t overwhelmed or had questions. Came up with flexible plan on how to move treatments moving forward.

I had initially booked an appointment with Dr. Mosovich because I needed a prescription refill. After sitting in the room with him for just five minutes, I knew he is one of the most brilliant psychiatrists I have ever met. He is also extremely personable, I felt like I could sit in his office and chat with him all day - he gives great movie recommendations! Definitely will be a returning client if my healthcare allows!
Dr Mosovich’s assistant called to confirm the appointment. I did not have to wait when arriving at the office, the appointment started right on time. Dr Mosovich was professional and easy to talk to.

I went to Dr. Mosovich for an ADHD consultation. He was very professional and thorough, and provided me with a Strong game plan on how to improve my focus with both medication and other routines.

Didn't feel like he really listened or cared, and I fully agree with other reviewers that he can be really judgmental and cavalier with diagnoses. I'm all for candor from my psychiatrist and don't like to be coddled by mental health professionals, but I felt personally insulted on multiple occasions, and dreaded my appointments. Despite this, I continued to see him for several months, since it can be so hard to find a psychiatrist in this city--let alone a good one. But honestly, you should keep looking. I finally have one that makes me feel supported, heard, and is extremely thoughtful about her feedback and treatment approach.
Insightful and decisive.
I really don't understand the positive reviews here. He has terrible bedside manner...and literally made fun of me in several appointments. He is very technology inept...has bizarre cash only policy if less than a certain amount. I have not seen this at any other doctor.
Great doctor. He made me feel comfortable, acted more as a friend than a doctor. Has a good sense of humor. Also really listens to you and cares. I am going back.
Going to a new psychiatrist is never fun. Having to disclose all the stuff you don't like to talk about anymore is rough. I hated every minute of it and kept subconsciously trying to lighten the mood. Dr. Mosovich kept the session focused so he could make an informed decision about treatment. At the time it felt harsh, but that's his job and he's good at it.
It was my first time visiting Dr. Mosovich and he was engaged, insightful, and careful with his diagnosis. It's been hard to find a good psychiatrist in NYC who was down to earth and actually listened and thankfully I feel like I have found one in Dr. Mosovich.
Serge was recommended by my therapist. I had a prescription that was 6 years old and need to be reevaluated. Talking to a new doctor seemed routine. At my first appointment, Serge asked a series of questions that seemed irrelevant. I played along and by the end he had pieced together a diagnosis that made a lot of sense. He recommended a new medication and after 6 months I feel like a different person. Serge is a professional, kind, intelligent doctor who cares about his patients and is passionate about what he does. He truly has a gift in diagnostics.
He is fantastic, highly recommended!
Absolutely wonderful. Straight to the point but genuinely cares about getting the right treatment and improving patients' health. He is quick to understand and has never made me feel uncomfortable about my situations or feelings. He has gotten me on the correct medication and referred me to an excellent therapist as well.
I had a very insightful and thorough visit with Dr. Mosovich. He took the time to get to know me and I was not rushed out the door.
Knowledgeable and experienced, no doubt. However much was left to be desired. Very nonchalant manner, doesn't seem too invested, often handles personal business during appointment time. Wasn't very helpful.
I left our first and only appointment feeling awful. My previous psychiatrist and I had decided that it was time to ween me off a medication. Unfortunately, due to insurance issues, I had to stop seeing this doctor and find a new one. So, I booked an appointment with Dr. Mosovich. His office and building were both clean and organized, easy to get to, and I was seen right away after signing in, which I appreciated. However, during the appointment, Dr. Mosovich made claims that I may have various disorders (all of which, I have never seen in myself, nor has a doctor ever come close to diagnosing in me). I felt wildly insulted and somewhat manipulated. The one thing I had come in for (to find a doctor to assist in my process of weening OFF a medication), was said by Dr. Mosovich to be an unlikely possibility. I left the appointment incredibly uneasy and questioning my own sanity. I felt alone and totally mistrustful at Dr. Mosovich's "guidance". These are not feelings one should leave an opening consultation with. Happy ending though! I went on to find another psychiatrist who was very supportive and positive, while also cautious and careful in helping me ween off my medication. I have been off for about a year now and I have never been happier and more satisfied with my life!
Went twice and had an awful experience twice He is nasty and judgmental. No need to book an appointment with him if you want to feel better and not worse.
My appointment was rescheduled the day before. I received several calls and one voicemail from a blocked number, then an email. Once I was at the appointment, the doctor was extremely disorganized. I had just moved from out of state and needed three prescriptions renewed. I brought all three prescription bottles with me to my appointment, and the doctor told me I only needed to refill one because two of the bottles had ten pills left in them. He told me to call when those pills were gone for a refill. I thought this was odd, but I didn't have any choice. Throughout the appointment he called me the incorrect name. At one point he asked me to walk over to his computer to help him enter something onto a form (selecting an answer from a drop down box, NOT rocket science). When I did leave, the front door was locked and I spent about five minutes trying to find a way out. Yesterday, I called to refill my two prescriptions that he refused to refill during the appointment. The call went straight to voicemail. Only after several emails with his scheduling agent was I told that the nurse would call me. This evening I received a call from the nurse (from a blocked number). She asked me what my name was, as the doctor had somehow recorded the wrong name (which I had corrected him on several times). She asked me to text a photo of the front and back of my insurance card to her cell phone number.... Sketchy, especially since the doctor made a copy of these during the appointment. I sent her these photos, as well as photos of my now empty prescription bottles. I received and email from her at 1 am, stating that the doctor is in Argentina, and he has no record of me having other prescriptions, so I need to go back to my old doctor to have those refilled. This has been by far the WORST experience I have ever had. He is extremely disorganized, confused, and unfriendly. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. There's a reason he has open appointments. This will end up being a waste of your time and money. I have no idea how this man is a practicing psychiatrist.
Dr. Misovich spent a lot of time with me and was very thorough. I'd consider myself to be a very complex, difficult case making it hard for psychiatrists to get through the initial consult. He was great, he asked many questions, was insightful but not assuming, and easy to talk to.
Not really sure why there were so many positive reviews. He had terrible bedside manner, called me fat, and took a phone call in the middle of the appointment. I feel like a fool for paying.
DR MASOVICH IS GREAT! He is straightforward, but very friendly. He genuinely cares about helping his patients get better. He helped me out of a very deep, dark depression and took the time to get to know me, accurately diagnose my issue and prescribe the appropriate medication. I am in a much better place now and would continue seeing him if I weren't moving out of the city. Very thankful for his help.
Dr. Mosovich was great - he really conceptualized my diagnosis in a way that no one had before. He's a great doctor who I would have stayed with as long as possible had my insurance provider not changed.
I guess I was looking for something other than Dr. Mosovich's other reviewers on here. He was awful to me. I was unemployed when I was seeing him (which was extremely difficult and trying) and he would constantly express disbelief at this fact. ("I don't understand why you haven't gotten a job yet.") Not to mention, on our first visit when I was explaining why I was there, I started to tear up, and he said, "Wow, you're pretty weepy!" like it was some sort of shock that a depressed person would walk through his door. He's certainly not a coddler, which is fine, but I also don't think mocking your patients is acceptable. He also ranted at me because my insurance was requesting pre-authorization for a medication — because it meant his assistant would have to spend some extra time on the phone that he'd have to pay her for. I know this is a problem for providers across the board, and I'm sympathetic to it, but taking your frustration about the whims of an insurance company out on your patient is not the correct response. What else... oh. He criticized my previous provider for not doing enough to help me, but he made a whopping zero changes to my medication regimen from that provider and didn't seem interested in doing so. The only change I saw is in myself over the four or five months I worked with him that if I entered his office feeling OK, I generally left in tears and feeling like crap.
Dr. Mosovich was very prompt, I hardly had to wait for my appointment at all. He was thorough in my history (which is complicated) and took into account my goals for treatment. I will continue to see him!
Dr. Mosovich has been instrumental and vital in my mental health recovery. His no nonsense attitude and willingness to listen are unparalleled. I would highly recommend him.
I've been seeing someone for 8+ years, but had to switch due to a new insurance company. It was the most bizarre experience...he spoke to me for 5 minutes (literally, 5 minutes) then created a new diagnosis. I left the office and immediately called a different dr. The visit was a waste of time/money.
