About Shane Courtney
Shane Courtney is a NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant licensed in both New Jersey and New York. He earned his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. Living and studying in New York afforded him opportunities to learn medicine at some of the state’s best facilities, including NY Presbyterian Weill-Cornell, Forest Hills Hospital, and Staten Island University Hospital’s Burn Center. While at Wagner, his thesis on the effects of sunlight on cardiac patients was awarded a "Best Thesis Award." Shane is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and Theta Chi International Fraternity. In his downtime, Shane enjoys movies, traveling, working out, and spending time with family.
