Shannon Hummel builds therapeutic relationships through a holistic approach to treatment. Additionally, she practices evidence-based medication management and brief supportive, solution-focused psychotherapy. Shannon is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She graduated from Brenau University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time in the mountains with her family and her energetic Goldendoodle.
