always helpful and a realist
She is very nice very easy too talk too and I love how she gets u in right away
Dr. Qureshi is extremely nice and efficient.
upfront, honest and very informative
Extremely unfriendly, doesn't even check the vitals. See the medical history and says 'haha' you have this, that sounded super oxymoronic. I would stay away from this doc.
She seemed like she had a long day, wasnt sure she was delighted to see me. I was hoping to get a physical exam done today, but she advised me to reschedule since ive just got done having my period three days ago. I said thats fine, I'll reschedule. Aside from that, she mentioned about my acne problem on my back and also my face. She recommended a facial peel and prescribed me a couple of acne medications. I give her four stars.
Very friendly Doctor.
Dr. Qureshi changed my appt to earlier because she had to leave but she didn't rush me at all, she listened to me and was very patient & understanding. I liked the way she explained things to me, she was very matter of fact about my issues (losing weight ) but kind.
Dr Qureshi is clearly a sharp, well informed doctor who worked closely with me resolve my issue. Highly recommended!
Dr. Qureshi is an effective hybrid of knowledgeable and engaging.
I scheduled my appointment at a certain time because unfortunately I knew that I had to take my son with me. I was considerate enough to do so around times that I know he would normally take a nap so that the experience wouldn't be offputting for the office staff and Doctor. I kept in mind the amount of time an initial visit may take so that by the time I leave my son would be due for his nap. Unfortunately despite the office staff not being so welcoming and cold I was still made to wait an additional 30 minutes past my appointment without any dialogue or "heads up" by staff. I arrived 30 min prior to my appt assuming that I would be asked to fill out paperwork since this is my first visit to the office and tried to be mindful of their schedule. The professional thing to do would be to be mindful of my time as well. I don't ask for much and I'm definitely not high maintenance I just ask for a little bit of communication so that I know what is going on.It's very frustrating as I have a very tight schedule and it's hard with my children to get away to an important appointment such as this one. I definitely need to schedule another appointment but needless to say it will not be with this office.
Super short once seen. Told her what was wrong, then she quickly diagnosed me, gave me a prescription and sent me on my way.
Overall a great doctor! Waiting for your appointment takes awhile though.
She was quick, no nonsense, and understood my issue, completely. Perfect appointment. I asked her to be my PCP!
I was really disapointed with my visit to Dr. Qureshi. Her staff was rude and not helpful at all. I was the only patient in the office and waited 45 minutes to be seen. When I asked the receptionist, she said I will be seen soon.....20+ minutes later. I never made eye contact with either girl behind the desk the entire time I was there. Dr. Qureshi was nice, and I really wanted to have a good visit. I was frustrated that she was late. She didn't do a full exam which was upsetting. I will not go back to this doc and do not recommend her.
Dr. Qureshi was polite, professional, and able to answer all of my questions. She was informative and gave me a few different medication options and readily gave me what I wanted even though it wasn't her top recommendation. I would have liked to have been able to do the paperwork online before the appointment to cut down on some of the 4 pages of questions/responses. Aside from that, I was satusifed with my visit.
My first visit with Dr Qureshi was great. We talked for quite a while on my symptoms and history. I am set for additional lab tests and we will go from there. I purposely arrived in the office 30 minutes before my scheduled appt. I spent 15 minutes filling out the standard forms. I was seen by the Dr several minut s before my scheduled appointment. She cared enough to request to review previous MRIs for a long unhandled back condition if I was interested, a condition separate from the reason I went to see her. Thank you Dr.
Even after taking an appointment, we had to wait for 1.5 hours. The office opens at 9 am and our appointment was at 9.30 am. When we reached the office there were already 3 patients ahead of us and we got to see the doctor at 11 am. It was very frustrating. She prescribed me some very strong prescription which I was not happy about. I will not be going there again.
Very knowledgeable, genuinely cares about the patients best interest
Dr. Qureshi is consistently a kind, generous, thoughtful caregiver and sharp doctor. She has a casual conversational style that makes me extremely comfortable so everything is easy to discuss, and her feedback is balanced between western traditional medicine and a healthy dose of common sense...mixed with a subtle holistic (but not overly granola) mindset. It's refreshing, really. Highly recommend Dr. Qureshi. Some people are just built upon a certain kindness at their core. She is definitely one of them, which goes a long long way when dealing with health issues.
She was wonderful I've seen many doctors including specialists for over 15 years and she is the first doctor to recommend surgery that has a high success rate with very low risk. She cares and spent the time to help identify a long term solution which will eliminate having to take medicine for the pain. I was impressed how quickly she diagnosed it and am eager to get the surgery and no longer deal with the severe back pain I've had since a teenager. Lastly just to show she truly cares and just doesn't resort to medication for the solution she even discussed a plan how to safely eliminate the medication once I'm able to save enough money to cover my portion of the surgery cost. She's a true doctor not one that just prescribes unnecessary medication that is detrimental in the long term. I am lucky to have found her while researching on the interne.
Very kind and professional doctor. Feel better the next day after visit thanks to prescription. Thank you very much, Dr. Sharmin Qureshi, for your attention.
Did not feel like MD was fully listening to my concerns during visit. Almost as if she decided what she wanted to do at the beginning of the visit and ignored the rest of what I said.
Dr Qureshi looked rather rundown and was not very coherent in her explanation of the drugs she was prescribing me. It seemed that describing what these were going to do to help or hurt me with their side effects was too difficult to ask of her, as she used very general terms and oftentimes trailed off with her sentences. So, I didn't exactly understand the drugs all that well and their distinctions from other drug options. She made some statements for the reason of her prescription which disagrees with other doctors I have been to for the same illness. Their methods for treatment were all successful for me, so I'm not sure why she has such a different stance. I did not go to my previous doctors for reasons of appointment time and having switched my insurance situation. She is of a sound mind all by herself, but listening to patients and getting their feeedback is half of the treatment. One of the prescriptions she sent with me caused me to experience a lot of distress with a near pass out followed by violent vomiting, and all it was supposed to do was help me with pain that I never mentioned that I'd had. She made 0 mention of this beforehand. I'm going to forego that part of the prescription for the rest of my treatment, and HOPEFULLY the other half of the drug prescription is not of the same poor judgement. Also, I'm not sure if this is ZocDoc's fault or the office's, but this office doesn't utilize ZocDoc's check-in forms. I had to fill in all of the new patient forms by hand. After having become very accustomed to ZocDoc for years now, I really don't want to go back to the old manual handwritten system.
Qureshi is so friendly and I felt so nice after meeting her.
It was great.
Dr. Qureshi was very helpful and encouraging. Professional and understanding. I now have a great Primary Doctor! Valerie M.
I didn't like her. This is why: I have 2 children. I told the doc that I was planning on having another. She said that 2 were more than enough, why would I want more, that she had 1, and was happy with only that. And as a young woman with a life ahead of me, and probably unstable finances, (she wrongly assumed), I should re think this. I came to her for a medical opinion, not life advice, and that was annoyingly judgemental. Again I mentioned that I was using an implant for birth control. She asked me why not the pill? Now the implant is just as effective a form of birth control medically as the pill, possibly more, as you cannot forget to take one, why is she criticizing me for that? My choice! My baby, who was with me, but not the patient. She asked me if he was eating well, and expressed concern about his weight. Again, interfering lady. My son has his own doc who knows more about his vitals than you do! Her office isn't computerized. She gave me a prescription on a piece of paper instead of sending it to a pharmacy. Most importantly, I have ongoing medical conditions with medical history from various specialists. She did not request or look over those medical records. Instead, she relied on my orally repeated hustory, and barely listened to that. Not planning to see her again.
She spent enough time with the patient, and was very empathetic to the patient - essential for primary care physicians.
She seemed like a very competent doctor and she was easy to deal with. She diagnosed me quickly and resolved my issue. The wait time was a bit long but I will give her the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't normal.
Awesome team and Doctor. She made me feel comfortable and gave me great health advice
Great doctor!! Great staff!!
She was honestly a sweetheart! Would recommended her to anyone!
She was very nice but not very informative about what she thought the issue might be or what I should do if the condition does not get better. She just gave me a shot and a prescription and said it hopefully will feel better
Dr Qureshi, was very gentle with my 90 year old Dad. Answered our questions and was very informative .
Very rude ; not professional. Did not listen to my concerns and kept interrupting me. Was shopping around for a new doctor with my new insaurance and I will never be going back. She rolled her eyes a few times as I was talking and made judgmental faces. As a patient, I don't need to see that nor should an MD be conducting that behavior. Do not recommend; unless you want to feel rushed the whole time.
Dr. Sharmin is a very good doctor. Thanks to the right treatment my pain has disappeared on the second day after visit. It's my third visit and the results are astonishing. Thank you very much for such attention and precise prescription. Tanya
The BEST Service ever. From the beginning to the end the process was seamless. Very kind and helpful staff. Dr. was very knowledgeable and very kind. I will be back for any health concerns. Best experience I've ever had at a Doctor's Office!!!
This doctor appears to be nice but is impatient and does not seem to know 100% what she is doing. I did a panel of STD tests and she asked me to see her in regards to the results. She right off the bat told me I was positive for something, which really freaked me out. She was acting nice and told me that she will treat me. After I left, when I looked into the results, all results final interpretation from Quest Diagnostic were saying I am negative. Absolutely do not recommend anyone to see her.
It was pretty good..Since we went for the first time, there were some insurance work needs to be done. Other than that it was pretty good. Dr. Sharmin is pretty knowledgeable and friendly. She was entertaining my 3 old boy too explaining all her gadgets. My child was too curious and was enjoying. Overall a very good experience. Thanks Zocdoc for helping me finding this doctor.
I was really sick & she was able to get me quickly over for an Xray & all my medicine within the hour. She answered all of our questions, checked in with me, etc. I would see her again & recommend her to anyone.
Very unprofessional, just wants your money! For a first time patient, you would think she would want to know about me and my medical history. She just looked at my chart, checked my heart beat, and hit my knee and sent me out the door. Had me get my blood drawn---a staff member called me a couple days later saying the doctor found abnormalities and that i would need to come in for a follow up. It's difficult for me to find time for appointments in my schedule, and asked if the abnormalities were something i should be concerned about and if i should take a day off work to come in... the staff member would not tell me! After 3 calls, I was finally told I had a vitamin D deficiency and to take over the counter pills. WHAT A JOKE.
I booked on ZocDoc and was able to get an appt immediately.
She messed up my prescription, luckily I noticed but not before getting to the pharmacy :(
Be prepared to wait a little bit, BUT her service is outstanding. Since seeing her ( and moving to this side of the bay ) I've had nothing but positive experiences with her.
Good visit and personable doctor. Wait time a little long. I plan on continuing to see her.
She is amazing and knowledge!!!!
She was great.
Her bedside manner was little to be desired, but I didn't care too much. I was thinking I mostly care if she can tell me what is wrong. She assigned an MRI and a blood test. The receptionist asked her questions about the MRI paperwork before relaying to the MRI company and the doctor responded "they will know". When I received a call from the MRI company, they were confirming an MRI for the wrong part of my body. Irritating! Mostly because the receptionist asked for clarification. Then I didn't get a call back for my blood test for two weeks. When they called me I asked if I could have the results by phone. The receptionist was to check with the doctor and she assured me she would call back that same day... That was three weeks ago. I never called them back after no response because I've made up my mind to look for a new doctor. Very unprofessional. I was unable to tell if the doctor is competent in the medical profession, but I assure this office is beyond unprofessional.
She was very friendly and knowledgable.
Best doctor I have seen in the past ywae
She is a GREAT doctor who truly has your best interest at heart!
she was really good at making sure she checked everything
One of the most professional doctor I have ever seen.
Office needs updating!!! Old medical bandages, etc. out.
She was accurate in terms of the diagnosis and treatment. but she was a bit short on patience. Which was of concern to me, I dont understand why a doctor would be this way with her patients/clients.
She listened to me, took her time, and has proactive in helping me. She was friendly and I would recommend her.
It was a good visit and will proceed to a great relationship. She is quite reassuring and helpful for good future results.
Accuracy of treatment or diagnosis
My follow up was a disaster. I called 1 day before to reschedule my appointment. No answer. Ended leaving work early and was there on time as the original time. They made me wait 1 hour before they suggested rescheduling. I never went back
I just went to her because her office was closer to my work place. I was more than happy to get treated by her. She was very sure of what she was doing and helped me understand what my problem was , and treated me accordingly. I would definitely recommend her
The actual consultation was fine, but terrible on time management. Almost 45 mins past my scheduled appointment time.
Dr. Qureshi is very friendly and is a great doctor!
Great and personable doctor. Really cares about patients. I am definitely coming back.
She is so helpful and made me feel 100% better!! Thank you Doc!!! She is also knowledge about all medications, very professional, and very kind. You can tell she really cares about you and your well being.
She is always very attentive to my health. I would highly recommend her to all my friends great service!
Best doctor I have ever had! She took the time to talk to me, get to know me, see what was bothering me and discussed way she could help me. Interesting thing is she used to be an engineer and it was great to relate experiences. To all engineers, she's great and good to have a doctor that understands the demands of the career. I will be going back and I am now making her my primary care doctor. She earned my trust on my first visit, she knows her stuff. I would recommend her to anyone, because you don't feel rushed to speak to her like some doctors I have see. Dr. Qureshi if you read this THANK YOU for caring so much about what I am going through.
Great! Warm, friendly, helpful.
Shes got words for the wise and wise to the words.
It was awesome!
She was awesome!
My father(Aged 64) was suffering with illness ,hence i visited the doc .She is really good and understood that he has tummy flu and also that my father was not covered under the insurance and she recommended medicine which are bit expensive but he recovered in 5 days . Beside that she gave free medicine for one day as medicine was not available locally .Highly recommended .
She's a good doctor, I can tell she listens well and she has your best interest in her diagnosis
She prescribed me a very expensive medication that is apparently not carried by most pharmacies, even though there is a much less expensive over the counter alternative available. She did not give any reason why the expensive prescription might be better. I did not realize the situation until a pharmacist took the time to explain it to me.
The doctor was helpful in getting all the right tests, however, I waited for over 1 hour to be seen, and there was no one else in the waiting room. I think only one patient was ahead of me. Very small office.
She was very professional and genuinely interested to help. I am a visitor to the area and was unfamiliar with the system but the staff were helpful too. Highly recommended.
She was wonderful. Very Professional, at the same time friendly and personable. The appointment was my 69yr old mother's first visit and she enjoyed her very much. We will continue to see Dr. Qureshi for all our medical needs. Thank you Dr. Qureshi.
She was a great doctor.
Felt very comfortable talking to her. She was very thorough. I would highly recommend her.
Great doctor, very sweet and knowledgable.
Very patient, and really gets to know you on a one to one basis.
she was absolutely wonderful . couldn't be better . very easy to talk to , and very understanding . Im grateful that I got her for my PCP . Thank You Anthony J. Niedermaier
Good first impressions. She seems like a good problem solver.
I have the best experince ever. In the front desk Cindy and Berenice in service above and beyond. I recomended this Dr. To everyone. sal.
Dr. Quereshi is very caring and wants the best for her patients. She is quick to order tests and get to the root of the problema nd is not afraid to say if she does not have an answer. My only complaint is the fact that each time I have the first visit of the day she is always late to arrive at the office. However, the wait is usually worth it.Oh...dont use this website to schedule a visit..it is not accurate.
Very understanding and knowledgable about healh issues.
Dr. Qureshi seems competent enough, but she is not as good at dealing with people as her staff. She says she likes to get to know her patients so that she can help the whole person, but our talks mostly set her up to say condescending things to me about personal things I shared with her--and I don't even think she realized she was doing it. Her staff also called me in for a follow-up visit for no apparent reason (since I already received test results by phone) and of course charged me another co-pay. I will not be returning.
i am very please this was my first time with dr.qureshi and i have to say she is the best dr.visit ive had a long time ,or the best visit .she was very welcoming and wanted to get awnsers for my concerns and not just refer me to some other dr like i have had in the past.she spent about an hour with me and i left feeling very pleased and knew i found a good dr.thank you so much and to also Adriana at the front desk was very nice and helpful good service all the way around :)thank you
Excellent personality, caring to needs of patient willing to go the extra mile.
Great Doctor, made me fill comfortable. She went over everything and seemed really concerned about me and how I felt. I will be returning.
Dr Qureshi is my mom’s doctor and we all LOVE her for her vast knowledge, care for her patience’s and determination to help in every possible way. My mom went through tough time, her walking and life functions rapidly declining. Looking for medical help we set an appointment with Dr. Qureshi. She was the one who immediately recognized the problem and sent her to the hospital. At the hospital Dr. Qureshi followed through all needed procedures proving surgery is really needed. Dr. Qureshi went the extra mile making sure mom’s surgery happens, she is in good hands and doing good. Now, only two weeks after the surgery, thanks to Dr. Qureshi, my mom can walk again and have her life back. Thank you, Dr. Qureshi for taking care of my mom like she is your mom! -Mayia
Dr. Qureshi was the most thorough understanding Physician I have ever met. When I arrived I was notified that my insurance would not cover the visit...Dr.Qureshi went ahead and examined me anyway. She gave me a full examination and actually took the time to spend 20 minutes talking with me,covering numerous topics.....of the utmost importance...it was such an amazing visit with her.....She is kind, candid, and genuinely has an interest in her patients...a real credit to her profession.....and absolutely a great Dr...
