About Sharon Joshua
Sharon Uchechi Joshua is a dedicated and compassionate nurse practitioner with dual certification in Family Practice and Psychiatric-Mental Health. She is nationally certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and licensed by the Arizona Board of Nursing.
Sharon began her nursing journey in 2007, driven by her passion for science, medicine, and a deep desire to serve humanity. Her progressive career includes roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant (2007), Licensed Practical Nurse (2009), Registered Nurse (2013), and Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate (2015). She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University in 2020 and later completed a Post-Graduate Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing at Wilkes University in 2024.
Her clinical experience spans diverse specialties including long-term care, behavioral health, medical-surgical nursing, emergency care, and correctional health providing her with a broad and well-rounded foundation for advanced practice. With over four years of practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner and additional psychiatric experience, Sharon brings both expertise and empathy to patient care.

Bad location, not a professional office. Doctor was very kind but did not seem fully prepared. It felt a bit dirty and not fully equipped with the right tools and sanitation of the place. Everything was placed on a small plastic cart that almost fell over and she had touched most everything with no gloves. Works if you need an appointment quick but I would not recommend it if you can help it. Almost couldn’t find the place as it was in the back of a parking lot for a deli.

My visit was just as good as the first one she is wonderful a great listener and she is very knowledgeable as well as patient. I would recommend her any day of the week she's awesome. And I can't say that about any of the other physicians that I've seen over the years. They're impatient and they don't listen and more importantly they only refer you to places you really don't belong at with unnecessary tests. I love my physician on ZocDoc Sharon is awesome she is one of a kind and I wouldn't trade her for the world.

Every time I see or speak with Sharon Joshua she always takes time for me and listens to my concerns! I love that she is caring and humble and never shows an attitude as if she is too busy to listen or that she has too much going on. She is very knowledgeable and gives sound medical advice. Plus her demeanor always lifts me up! In caring for my husband she is thorough and nonjudgemental, and puts him at ease. In summary, she is a wonderful, knowledgable woman and Medical Professional.
