Thank You for taking the time to read my bio. I understand that you have may foot and ankle doctors in this area and I am truly honored and appreciative that you have chosen me for your needs. I was born and raised in Bethesda, MD where I graduated from Walter Johnson High School. I grew up in a household that really stressed excelling in the sciences as well as performing community service. Naturally, being a physician encompasses both those principles. I went to Virginia Tech University where I studied Biology, Chemistry as well as Cognitive Psychology. From there, I west to the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia where I completed a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. I performed my initial training at George Washington University and the VA hospital in Washington DC. From there, I did my advanced surgical training at Kaiser Permanante in Oakland, CA. I was blessed to have trained with some of the most prolific Podiatric Surgeons in the country including Dr. Graham Hamilton, and Dr. Lawrence Ford.
Many people ask why I became a foot doctor. The foot and ankle while may seem simplistic at foist glance is actually a highly complicated and sophisticated part of our anatomy. The Human foot and ankle as over 27 bones, muscles, tendons, and joints. Many complicated diseases such as Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Vascular disease are manifested in the foot and ankle. I always found this to be fascinating and rewarding.
I treat everyone from the newborn infant to the geriatric population.
The conditions I treat range from everything from an ingrown or fungal toenail, to competitive athletes, heel pain, diabetic wound care, bunion surgery, esoteric skin condition to ankle injuries to performing complex reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries.
