These supports minimized my pain from a 7/10 to a 1/10, and a few days later the acute heel pain I was experiencing had largely vanished. Dr. Okino was pleasant and informative, and so clearly motivated by a genuine care for my health and comfort, unlike so many past doctors I have had who perform to a minimum and spend as little time as they can before moving on. Dr. Okino was easily one of the best doctors I have ever seen and there need to be more like him.”

Dr. Dick “Rich” Okino is a seasoned podiatric physician specializing in conservative and compassionate care, with a career dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for his patients. Dr. Okino was incredibly attentive and genuinely empathetic. He took the time to really listen and thoughtfully connect the dots, he identified that the ankle brace I was given back in Dec by my ortho contained latex, something I hadn’t even realized. Unfortunately, I’m allergic to latex, and despite my allergy being known, this led to significant swelling, cracking, and painful reactions in my feet. I truly appreciated Dr. Okino’s careful attention to detail and his compassion throughout the visit. It made a huge difference to feel heard and understood. Highly recommend.

My child has complex needs as he is autistic and highly sensitive to pain and stress. Dr. Okino was very kind and made sure that my son's foot was entirely numb before his procedure and had a lot of great ideas to help keep him safe during this procedure. Office staff were kind and accommodating even though we were a noisy visit. I am so grateful to each of them for their understanding and competence.

Dr. Okino saw me right away even thought I arrived 15 minutes earlier than my appointment time. The office staff were very friendly and welcoming. He immediately took care of my issue with a quick in office procedure. I was very anxious and he walked me through every step and gave me options. Will definitely return to his office if the need ever arises.

Dr. Okino was kind, efficient, and helpful. My son is autistic and has a hard time with waiting, so it was great we were not waiting long, and even better that Dr. Okino went right to work with removing the ingrown toenail that was bothering him.
