I have seen many chiropractors and physical therapists over the years and always felt like I was just a number. That is until I met Dr. Turner. Dr. Turner is amazing! He is very gentle and knows the body extremely well. He cares about his patients and does not overbook his schedule so there is no waiting for him to be done with other patients which is very nice.
Most chiropractors do the same treatments and adjustments to every person every time, not with Dr. Turner. Dr. Turner treats what is wrong with the body each and every time so I know that I am getting the very best care possible.
I have been seeing him for a few years and see him on a weekly basis just to keep my body moving freely and out of pain.
If you need a doctor that will care about you as a person and not as a number then go see Dr. Turner. If you want someone who is very in tune with the body and what is going on and how to fix it, then please go to see him.
I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Turner, he is a true healer.

Dr. Turner is a kind and caring chiropractor. He is gentle with his treatments, but amazingly powerful. I have seen him for many years. He has helped me to be able to live a full and easy life here in NYC. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs the services of a chiropractor.

Priority number one is the patient. Top quality care is essential for each and every patient and patient trust must be established. Without the patient’s trust in the doctor, the relationship and care may not be fully beneficial for the patient. I began my work in NYC in Feb. 2013. I had the opportunity to spend 18 months working alongside some very amazing physicians in a pain management group where we communicated and co-treated patients with pain and ailments of all types. I NEVER sent or do I to this day, send patients for unnecessary medical consultation. If it is necessary, I have a very candid conversation with the patient as to why further medical consultation would or would not be a reasonable choice. I myself specialize in rapid onset to chronic, mild to severe pain and all the symptoms associated with these complaints. I started working as a licensed massage therapist in 2001 and obtained an exercise physiology and medicine degree from WVU in 2007, all the while working in therapeutic massage until graduation. I graduated from chiropractic school in 2011. While working as a massage therapist I grew to understand the dramatic effect and affect moderate to severe muscle tension can cause. Since being a chiropractor, I have been very aware of the benefits of muscle and fascia therapy, which includes functional rehabilitative exercises, when combined with chiropractic adjustments. Also, I keep a very close rapport with many of the physicians and care providers I have met and have worked with during my years here in NYC. I feel that these doctors are among the best doctors and surgeons in the world and I am very grateful to have them on my team and with them, be able to provide top quality care to each and every patient we see and care for.

I have been seeing Dr. Shawn for adjustments for almost two years now and I highly recommend him. He takes time before, during and after the adjustment to talk to you and better understand the needs for your body. He is very accommodating to your needs and is always so pleasant to work with!

I've been seeing Dr. Turner for a few years now and have always had a great experience. He is very responsive when scheduling appointments and has a good bedside manner making appointments very comfortable. He pays close attention to what is bothering you and focuses on resolving the problem and then maintaining your health. He knows the human body well and can explain any pain or discomfort you may be experiencing in an easy to understand way. Billing has been simple and painless and I would highly recommend his practice. Dr. Turner has kept me up and moving and helped me learn more about how to take care of my body and back, while working with my lifestyle so it isn't overwhelming. Highly recommend!

Dr.Shawn will make sure he understands your body aches and lifestyle before he puts his hands on your spine.
He cares on solving the problem from the root, rather than offering you a quick relief. Listen to his tips, he might know stretching or strengthening exercises for you, It worked for me!

I have been seeing Dr. Turner for years. After injuring my back during a performance and feeling like I would be in constant pain forever, I was introduced by a friend to Dr. Turner. He has completely relieved me of my pain! Not only is he MAGICAL but he is also extremely personable, friendly, attentive and all around awesome. I recommend him to everyone I know!
