About Dr. Joshua Pickell

Dr. Joshua Pickell is a Chiropractor in Brooklyn serving the community of New York City. He has been committed to helping people improve their health since 2012, when he joined the wellness space by becoming a personal trainer in college. His passion for helping others has only grown since then. He first opened a private practice in Los Angeles, and has now created a new healing destination in 2023 after moving to Brooklyn. He has spent more than a decade studying the human body in its endless beauty and complexity, and how to cultivate wellness. As a lifelong student, he finds that the human body always has more to teach and more layers to explore. Dr. Josh graduated Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2020. Before that, his undergraduate studies consisted of a double major in Leadership Studies and Biology, and he graduated with a B.A. in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond in 2014. He is bringing a new generation of chiropractic care to the world based on his endless studies, refinement, and service. We are a cash based practice and do not accept insurance. Dr. Josh's top priority is to serve practice members at the highest level he is capable of. In order to provide the depth of care that our practice members deserve, Dr. Josh always gives practice members what they truly need, rather than what he thinks will be approved by an insurance company. He is always improving, and consistently trains, studies, and attends seminars to hone his adjustments, techniques, analysis, and outcomes. His dedication to the art of chiropractic is not valued by insurance companies, who have a different set of priorities. Additionally, his unique style cannot be quantified or understood under insurance guidelines. Dr. Josh is not willing to compromise his high standard of care for any reason - ultimately, this is why we have decided to not participate with insurance companies.
