As a psychiatric mental health provider with 17 years of nursing experience,I am passionate about helping individuals achieve emotional wellness and live healthier, more fulfilling lives. My healthcare jouney includes 17 years as a Trauma RN in the Philadelphia area. 2 years working as a Nurse practitioner on a dual diagnosis unit,where I provided care for individuals facing both mental health and substance use challenges. I founded my practice with a commitment to serving my community and incresing access to quality mental healthcare. I believe that mental health matters and I am especially passionate about supporting underserved communities and helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where every patient feels heard, valued and respected.
I enjoy providing tele-health and in-person services because it allows me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and meet patients where they are. Education is an important part of my practice,I strive to help patients better understand their mental health conditions, and treatment options. My approach to care is collaborative and patient centered. I believe the best outcomes happen when patients and providers work together as partners. I take the time to listen to your concerns, understand your goals, and develop an individualized treatment plan that fits your unique needs.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
During our first visit I will get to know you as a whole person, not just your symptoms. We will discuss your mental health history, current challenges, goals, treatment, lifestyle factors and any questions you may have. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan designed to support your overall well-being.

I had an excellent consultation with Mrs. Dean, who provided valuable assistance with medication management and ADHD treatment. Her calm and patient demeanor was greatly appreciated, and her office environment was both welcoming and aesthetically pleasing.
