Booking was easy, forms came directly to us, the call to confirm was quick and they asked if we had any questions or anything to make our visit easier. Office was easy to find and very clean once we were inside. It almost feels like a concierge pediatrician. Dr. Mak actually took time to speak with us, answered all questions, and ensure we were comfortable and satisfied with the answers. My daughter loved her visit, even though she had to get a shot. You can tell Dr. Mak has a way with children. It was truly the best pediatric experience we’ve ever had and she will be our doctor going forward.”

About Dr. Sheila Mak
Dr. Sheila Mak is a board-certified pediatrician who has been practicing pediatric medicine for 16 years and has been practicing in the Westchase/Clearwater area for the past 10 years. She graduated from Lake Erie College of Medicine in Erie, PA and completed her pediatric residency at Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey. She has decided to open her own office so that she can focus on delivering the best care possible for her patients. She believes in spending quality time with each patient family to build strong, trusting relationships and ensure that every treatment plan is tailored to the individual's unique needs while practicing evidence based medicine.
With her extensive clinical experience, as well as raising three children of her own, Dr. Mak is able treat children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents. Her special clinical interests include newborn and infant feeding issues, pediatric wellness, and pediatric nutrition.

Dr. Mak has the best bedside manner I have ever experienced! She makes sure all of your questions are answered and you can really tell she loves what she does. We were brought right back to a room and Dr. Mak met us in there within just a few minutes. We feel extremely lucky to have her as our pediatrician!

Dr. Mak is extremely kind and wonderful with her patients. Both of my children are comfortable with her and never nervous to go to the doctor. She always gives you plenty of time to feel heard and address all questions and concerns. She so friendly and supportive, I drive out of my way for her to be our pediatrician. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm welcome from Mitzi. The waiting room feels cozy, like a living room instead of a doctor's office. It's so inviting here! The office is well-maintained and very clean. My girls loved the art around the office! She has a cute bookcase filled with books for the littles to read while they wait.
Dr. Sheila is super kind, friendly, and informative. She was very thorough with my oldest daughter and helped explain things better than anyone we have seen in the past. She made sure we had everything covered that needed to be discussed. This is important to me because other doctors we have been to usually have two appointments to get everything said and done, one for the meet and greet and the second for a physical and whatever else you need covered that day. We got all that and more done in this one visit.
I am delighted I found Mak Pediatrics! I know my daughter will be in good hands here! <3
