“Shevan has been wonderful. Even in the short time that I saw her, she is truly one of the kindest, most helpful, and most hard working mental health professionals I've ever worked with. Shevan always advocated for me and made sure I felt heard. She genuinely helped me get through the summer. Without her, I would probably not have made as much progress as I did in my ED recovery. She was always quick to respond to problems I had, and her immediacy made me feel both understood and comfortable talking to her. The only reason that I moved to a different provider is because I moved states-- if I was able to, I would continue working with her in a heartbeat.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is warm, collaborative, and patient-centered. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can explore your concerns and work toward your goals. I combine evidence-based therapy with medication management when appropriate, and I value clear communication and shared decision-making so you feel supported and empowered in your care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you—your history, current concerns, and goals for care. This usually includes a comprehensive evaluation and discussion about possible treatment options. Together, we’ll decide on a plan that may include medication management, therapy, or both. Follow-up visits focus on how you’re doing with treatment, adjusting medications if needed, and offering supportive therapy to help you manage stress, improve coping skills, and build on progress. My process is collaborative, structured, and always tailored to your needs.
