This doctor walked into the examination room and told me that my symptoms were due to dust mites. Nothing that I had spoken to his assistant regarding my condition had absolutely nothing to do with my symptoms. He recommended I get away on vacation to escape the horrible environment that is NYC. He wanted me to do a test to see if I was allergic to dust mites, but I kindly declined. That would have been a further waste of my time, energy, and money. I would not recommend this doctor. He talked a lot and didn't seem to listen to a word I had to say.

Dr Wu was great! He explained everything clearly, & I left his office feeling better about my situation. Office staff was very helpful!

Great experience. Friendly staff, and the doctor was excellent. He was informative in a helpful way and listened to my input on what worked best for me in my treatment plan.
My daughter was very nervous about seeing a doctor, but Dr. Shuyung Wu made her feel at ease right away. He did not rush through the appointment, listened attentively to all our concerns, and came up with a clear treatment plan. His communication skills with children are exceptional, and he made sure to explain everything in a way that was easy for us to understand. We are very grateful for his care and highly recommend him.

Dr. Wu is very professional and friendly. I felt heard during my appointment, and the doctor asked good questions to ensure we were both on the same page. The doctor and PA seemed to have my best interests in mind rather than trying to sell me on treatment.
Very good bedside matter, very thorough doctor who asked me the right questions/provided concise answers versus waiting for info to be pulled out of them.
Dr. Shuyung was extremely attentive, well informed, and knowledgeable about my allergy symptoms. He was extremely patient and explained everything thoroughly, which is so nice because of his attentiveness. It felt like all my concerns mattered to him. I am going to recommend him to my partner and friends. I highly recommend him to anyone that wants a doctor that actually cares about you!
Verified patient
Dr. Wu was especially friendly and calm in going over the situation I had with my baby and how to proceed from there. He did not try to push any additional tests and gave valuable insight into our situation.
Verified patient
Great service. Clear directions, friendly staff
Verified patient
Very thorough doctor explains everything until you understand. Does not rush you out like most do. I Would recommend this doctor to everyone.

Dr. Wu is hand down the most narcissistic doctor I have ever encountered. His bedside manner is lacking. He talked over me the entire time, did NOT listen to me or let me speak fully before interrupting and mansplaining, and ultimately attempted to sell me on taking a medication that I repeatedly told him has not worked for me. When I inquired about the only FDA approved medicine that treats my condition, he claimed he “does not do” that medicine. He obviously has a bias against that company. Furthermore, after getting biopsies and diagnosis of my condition by my GI doctor, Dr. Wu proceeded to say “well if you do have that…” as though he didn’t believe the results. He wasted my time, I imagine for the sake of a quick buck. Truly, when I filled out the zocdoc form stating that I had this condition he should’ve contacted me stating that he cannot treat it. I would rather eat a jean jacket before I ever went back to him.
My experience was great, He was by far the nicest doctor I have spoken with in a long time. He went over all my bloodwork. Any questions. he answered. I will be starting allergy shots next week.

My first time seeing Dr. Wu and my first time seeing an Allergist. Not sure what to expect at all. The staff was welcoming and the wait was not long at all. My appointment was scheduled for 1215 and I arrived 10 minutes prior to the appointment. I was greeted and saw Dr. Wu in less than 20 minutes. Dr. Wu was direct, informative, friendly and professional.
