Dr. Sharma was great. Super professional, knew what he was talking about, gave options as well. Prepared with visuals and explains things clearly... I have a second appointment in 2 weeks. His office moved to 125-10 Queens blvd in Kew Gardens from a different location on Austin St. in Forest Hills.

I was very happy with the level of care Dr. Sharma gave me, he went through every detail and gave me a full examination. Dr. Sharma completed his medical education at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He finished a three year foot and ankle surgical residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He has authored numerous articles related to wound care in several orthopedic and wound care journals. He has also published three books related to epidemiology. He is currently a board member of the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Sharma's professional interests include arthroscopy, reconstructive surgery and wound care. He has lectured at conferences, hospitals, and universities across the country. Dr. Sharma is also a New York State Trooper PBA Police Surgeons. Note: Dr. Sharma does not perform "routine foot care" such as nail care or callus treatment.

As a B'klyn resident I saw a Podiatrist in my area when I had unbearable heel pain. I was given an X-ray. Told I had a heel spur. Rec'd 2 Crtizone shots and told that's all they can do. Pain continued so I was referred to Dr. Sharma by a good friend. He sent me for an MRI... found I had a tear in the heel. He recommended PRP shot .The pain in less then 2 weeks has practically subsided after months of terrible agonizing pain. Dr Sharma listens.. He explains things. Considerate and truly shows he cares about your well being. I would highly recommend him!

He was very informative and knowledgeable. I went with alot of foot discomfort. After my complete foot exam he determined I had plantar fasciitis which can be very common. I had to get a cortisone/anesthesia injection right at the source of the pain (my heel) :( but he and his asst. Jamie were very comforting and I got thru it. He also sent me for X-rays because I also have concerns about a bunion. He gave me a prescription for pain since due to work I'm on my feet a lot along with instructional exercises that will help with my plantar issue. I will be going back in a few weeks for a follow up exam. Dr. Sharma is a true gem. Thanks Doc!!!

After seeing Dr. Sharma and sitting down and discussing my medical issue which was not get answered by The VA Hospital. I personnally didn't mind the wait time and will continue seeing him. If you looking for a good podiatrist I recommend you pick him as your podiatrist.
