About Dr. Sooji Kim
Dr. Sooji Kim is a board-certified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon also certified in The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society; Restorix Health National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology. dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for patients of all ages. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stony Brook University and her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Kim completed her surgical residency training at Bellevue Hospital Center, a Level I Trauma Center in New York City, where she trained throughout the South Manhattan Healthcare Network, including Jacobi Medical Center, North Central Bronx Hospital, Woodhull Medical Center, and Gouverneur Health. She served as Chief Resident during her final year of residency.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Kim is actively involved in medical education, training residents in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Bellevue Hospital and St. Barnabas Hospital. She also teaches at the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine.
Dr. Kim specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions in both adults and children, including sports injuries, neuroma, bunions, hammertoes, flat feet, heel pain, diabetic foot care, wound care, reconstructive surgery, and limb salvage procedures. She is committed to building strong relationships with her patients and developing individualized treatment plans to help them return to an active, healthy lifestyle.
Born in South Korea and raised in the United States, Dr. Kim is fluent in both English and Korean. Outside of work, she enjoys running, skiing, Pilates, painting, playing the cello, and spending time with her daughter.
