My goal is to provide the expert psychiatric care that will allow you to perform at your personal and professional best. I am a graduate of Harvard Medical School and the Johns Hopkins psychiatry residency program, and board-certified in psychiatry. I have over twenty years combined experience in psychiatry and primary care medicine, and work with adults and adolescents 16 and older. I treat depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and other psychiatric conditions.
I also treat psychiatric issues related to medical conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stroke, dementias, epilepsy, endocrine and autoimmune disorders, and cancer. I work with individuals, couples, and families to address their relationship or career issues.
My practice style: Creating a trusting and empathic environment; addressing all the factors that contribute to your present condition; and advocating for you and guarding your privacy. I encourage an assertive and collaborative treatment style; this leads to faster recovery, and the strength and resilience to overcome life's challenges.
- I am out of network with insurance, and I am not a Medicare/Medicaid provider. Visit fees are payable at time of service, and I can provide a receipt that can be submitted to insurance for possible reimbursement.
- Appointments will be scheduled after we have spoken by telephone to discuss your needs. Please respond to texts or emails asking you to contact me.

Dr.Saidi is a rare gem among colorless stones that make up this profession. I had my first visit with him today and knew within minutes he was the real deal. This is a man whose qualifications alone were enough to get me on the LIRR for an hour to meet him. He didn't disappoint. For the first time in years I feel confident I can beat my anxiety and ADD and confident in the doctor who will help me do it. Those writing negative reviews need to realize this is a Harvard grad and the real deal. If you're looking for honest help, this is the guy you want. But if you're looking for someone who will "take your order", I suggest you try McDonalds. You won't find that here.

No follow-up at all after several medications had no effect. Seems like he simply lost interest after a couple of office visits while he did not fix any issue. Very disappointing given the excellent reviews I read on this site.
