Doctor Rajan is a miracle worker!! Went in with a mess of a left shoulder and he put it back together!! The pain I had endured for some 6 plus months before surgery was gone in about three days. Healing for one month now and feeling better every day!!! Can't wait to start PT!

Dr. Sivaram Rajan is an orthopaedic surgeon in Hackensack, NJ. Dr. Rajan completed his undergraduate training at the University of Michigan, graduating magna cum laude in the Honors Program. He then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH where he received his medical degree. Dr. Rajan then completed general surgery internship and residency at the State University of New York in Stonybrook, NY. After residency, Dr. Rajan completed advanced fellowship training at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania in 2003 where he gained expertise in arthroscopic minimally invasive knee and shoulder surgery and sports medicine.
Dr. Rajan is affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Rajan specializes in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery which includes ACL reconstruction, meniscal surgery, rotator cuff repair, and labral repair. He also has expertise in total knee and hip replacements which
he performs weekly at Hackensack University Medical Center. In addition, he is skilled in treating fractures and sports injuries from adolescents to adults. Dr Rajan has treated my boyfriend for several years. He performed his rotator cuff surgery as well as knee replacement surgery. So when it came time to choose an orthopedist for myself it was a no-brainer. I highly recommend Dr. Rajan.

This Dr was recommended by another physicial for a hand issue i am having. Unfortuntely he is not the correct physician to see. I need a hand specialist. Not his fault. He was very good and I would use him again if I need an orthopedist.

Doctor Sivaram was not very patient with me and seem to be rushing me out of the treatment room, he didn't see my problem as important and never asked me much about what I was experiencing. His assistant was excellent. I will be looking for another doctor in this field.
