Verified Patient Reviews
Excellent surgeon, great skills and clinical judgment, and knowledge but also bedside manners, very empathic and professional.
Very pleasant staff Doctor is excellent
I am a repeat patient. He's terrific. We came to a conclusion to postpone surgery...my pain is annoying, not debilitating. We'll see what the year ahead brings. It was made clear I could come back at any time.
Warm, patient and really seemed to know his stuff
I like Dr Gladstone. He had an emergency in the morning which backed up his whole schedule by 2 1/2 hours, however. It makes no sense not to have a system in place to allow patients to reschedule or at least be warned before the visit.
I could deal with the wait because the doctor was so gentle and kind. He showed me the x-rays and explained carefully what had happened so that I would understand. I walked out of the office feeling much better knowing what the problem was.
Dr. Gladstone is an awesome Doctor, he does the necessary examination and X-rays to access to situation. He listens to you and explains the steps needed to treat the problem. He is very pleasant, I would recommend anyone give him a try, you will not regret it.
Dr. Gladstone is personable and competent: an unbeatable combination. I have confidence in his assessment. His nurse, Charity, is friendly with a manner that helps one feel comfortable. The front desk does not seem fully integrated with Zoodoc. I somehow was not in their schedule, though I had a Zoodoc print-out indicating my appointment.
I really don't want to write anything.
I'm a new patient - after filling out paper work - wait time was minimal - all the assistance were professional and courteous- The Dr. Gladstone and his Dr. assistant were easy to talk to and explained their diagnosis and prognosis - my examination was thorough -
This was a terrible experience for my 16year old son and myself. We had a 3:30pm appointment and after waiting 1hour we were told that he was running late. We waited another 30 min and asked for an update. The rudest person ever - his assistant Carol - came out and told us we needed to wait another hour! She had the nerve to say that doctor appointments are always late... 2.5hours late?!?! You would think she would do her job and notify patients of the delay. Not going back there for sure.
Thorough, professional, easy to talk to. He provided good advise and I did not feel rushed or confused with any of the conversation.
Everyone in the office was extremely polite and friendly....staff, tech, resident and Dr Gladstone. Highly recommend!
Dr. Gladstone is a knowledgeable, caring, fantastic doctor. I immediately felt I was in good hands and I really was!! My meniscus surgery was a great success and I can compare it with another done six years ago on the other knee by another doctor. He is a very busy professional but he has always a very human, kind touch. The best!
Dr. Gladstone was pleasant, patient with my questions, and my only complaint was my wait time (didn't get called from the waiting room until 45 minutes from my scheduled time).
The co-pay for gel shots in my knees was astronomical.
He was very calm, clear, focused, smart and gentle. He had a great solution for my issue . . . and that surprised and delighted me.
I limped into Dr. Gladstone's office a broken down man with excrutiating knee pain and walked out two hours later, so relieved that I could walk again, that I wept when I got out the door to 98th st. The most exquisite care from Yvette at the desk to the young lady who took my x-rays to Magdalena and Diana in the room. These four ladies and Dr. Gladstone are the people that not only make Mt. Sinai my hospital of choice but raise the bar of healing immensely! Thank you sooooo much for fixing my legs and giving me my quality of life back!
Dr Gladstone was very knowledgeable and direct. He was also very nice.
Very satisfied with the Doctor's evaluation of my problem.
Excellent Thoroughly Professional
Not a quick process by any means but if you have the time, Dr. Gladstone was very attentive and pleasant and the staff was friendly.
Very impressed with the staff and the doctor. I have had both knees replaced by the doctor and I am very satisfied with the care from all concerned.
Excellent doctor! Dr. Gladstone was friendly, professional and extremely thorough.
Awesome Doc! Instead of rushing me to an MRI, therapy, or surgery - he said, "Let's wait. Give it some time". Guess what? Got better on my own! Thanks Doc!
Dr. Gladstone was thorough, personable and knowledgeable; check-in desk was totally disorganized. The wait was at least 1-½ hrs. after forms had been completed.
Exceptional physician who possesses the rare combination of outstanding clinical diagnostic and surgical skills coupled with a genuine concern for his patients' well being.
Excellent doctor takes the time to discuss everything but the wait is a little extensive so if not patient search elsewhere.
Very informative, patient and responsive. Only negative was I stepped away to use the ladies room and they called my name. The person at the desk knew because I asked where it was. After hearing people being called after I came in, I went up to the desk and she said, "Oh they called you already, it must have been when you were in the ladies room." It would have been nice if she instructed the doctors assistant that I was indisposed for a few minutes rather than leaving me sit there unattended.
He is the best! Professional, courteous and takes the time to explain everything to you. Will definitely recommend him.
Very nice doctor! Knowledgeable, efficient and corteous. Will certainly recommend him.
Bedside manner was excellent. Explained in detail what was wrong and made me feel well within a matter of minutes. Staff was very friendly & out going. But the wait time was excessive, over an hour & a half to be seen.
He was extremely thorough. Unlike other orthopeadic surgeons, he actually took the time to verify what the source of my pain was. The appointment lasted about 10 minutes, which I feel was much better than the previous doctor I saw for the same issue (2 mins).
I was early to my appointment. Long wait to get past the waiting room. Once I got back there I was xrayed and tested and processed quickly and extremely professionally. Dr. Gladstone is professional and does not mess around. Very Happy. Cannot recommend enough.
Good bedside manner however very long wait time and unnecessary amount of paperwork that is duplicative and patient questionnaires that I doubt were even looked at by the physician or staff.
Very professional wonderful bedside manner
Very professional but enjoyable to talk to. I feel like I am in good hands with this doctor and trust him to make the best decisions possible come operation day. The waiting experience could be better but it was fairly typical and once you get out of the waiting room everything is clear and quick.
He is great!
He was competent and that's all I ask for. Someone who knows there business and answers questions without pushing you out the door.
Top quality attention and care.
Very good and very professional consultation.
Dr. Gladstone is an excellent physician and provided effective care for my condition. He was always informative and extremely knowledgeable when speaking with me about my condition and the possible treatments. I recommend him highly.
Dr. Gladstone is great! Highly recommended!
He is an incredible doctor--one of the best in NYC. I felt like he spent all the time that I needed with me. Discussed a course of action that I works with my lifestyle and goals.
He was very easy to talk to and thorough
Very professional with strong bedside manners. Took time to understand my issues and thoroughly evaluate. Only drawback was that my wait time was a bit long. Although the staff apologized for it.
Exellent and professional.
Dr. Gladstone is the best. I highly recommend seeing him, he takes the time to answer all of your questions and is a phenomenal surgeon. As a point of reference, Dr. Gladstone performed an ACL reconstruction and HTO simultaneously on me last year.
Great meeting Dr. Gladstone -- thought he had a very professional approach, did a good job explaining to me my injury, discussing treatment options, and answering questions.
Once I saw him I had his complete attention and he explained my diagnosis and treatment very clearly and patiently.
i'll know better in a few days after i can assess the treatment
Great doctor. Very kind and courteous. Knows his stuff. .
Annoyed by too long wait time of 40 minutes. In my book 30mins gets 2 stars. Anything over gets 1 star. Since when is patients' time less valuable than the doctors'? They should have the courtesy of posting/communicating current wait times to patients. Like the airlines. Dr. Gladstone was direct, attentive, knowedgable, matter of fact, and non-rushed. Answered all questions. I expect I'll use him for my shoulder surgery.
Dr. Gladstone was worth the wait, and the staff was professional. The waiting time, as many others have already expressed, is a real problem.
Dr. Gladstone was excellent. Wait time was long but worth it.
Informative and helpful with good advice.
Too long of a wait, but good time with the doctor.
Dr. Gladstone is a true gem and I feel very fortunate to have been in his care for ACL replacement surgery. Thanks to him my recovery time was lightening fast, and I barely have any scars to show for it. He is extremely easy to talk to, genuine, and has a refreshingly conservative approach to care (other surgeons I consulted with about this were obviously concerned more with their bottom line than my well-being!). His staff is fast and attentive and I will never look elsewhere for an ortho specialist.
Very personable, knowledgeable and professional. Outstanding.
Very thorough and comprehensive. He founds answers to questions I didn't know I had.
He was fine, but it took 50 minutes to see him for 5 mnutes.
Great doctor, very intelligent and reliable. I checked him out online before making an appointment and found that he's highly recommended on other websites as well. Good bedside manner and explains everything thoroughly. His staff is a bit stiff, but being able to communicate via email is great. Very highly recommended.
I like Dr. Gladstone. He's thorough and caring. But they absolutely MUST do something about the waiting time. My appt was 9:30am and I had to wait 45 minutes. By the middle to the end of the day he's hours behind.
Dr. Gladstone was excellent. I had a really bad experience with a prior ortho. He was wonderful. I highly recommend.
He was very methodical, not very personable
Unacceptable wait time, nice office staff and doctor.
Genuine, warm, and definitely has his patients' best interests a heart (a surgeon who does not push surgery as the only option - how refreshing!). I'm also quite impressed with the professional, but personal treatment that I have received by his assistants.
If you're in need of the best you need to see Dr Gladstone. Seriously.
I think it was great. Great treatment by staff and doctor.
The Office is managed horribly. I waited over an hour to be seen. Then when they finally took me into the office, they had me confused with another patient. His office was supposed to call me with important information the next day but 3 days passed and they never contacted me. When I called them, they had an attitude and said that they had left an voicemail and an email. Neither of which I received. The staff's lack of compassion, hurried attitude, and disorganization made it an unplesant experience which is a shame because Dr. Gladstone himself is great.
professional and friendly staff. Doctor is nice and knowledgeable
The office was very professional.
