About Dr. Preetpaul Bagi
Dr. Paul Bagi is a highly trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon who specializes in surgical and nonsurgical management of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine disorders. Although he is exceptionally trained in all facets of spine surgery, he has a special interest and expertise in complex adult and pediatric spinal deformity, scoliosis, and spinal trauma. He also performs minimally invasive surgical procedures and utilizes cutting edge technology including augmented reality, navigation and robotic surgery.
He believes in a patient-centered approach and is passionate about educating patients and their families about their spinal condition along with all treatment options available to them.
Dr. Bagi completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University where he graduated summa cum laude and as a Presidential Scholar. After graduating with honors from Yale University School of Medicine he completed his residency at the prestigious Yale-New Haven Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in complex spinal surgery at the University of California, San Diego.
He has contributed to multiple articles in orthopaedic literature focusing on both spine surgery and general orthopaedics, and presented at national meetings and conferences.
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Bagi enjoys training in martial arts, skiing and reading.
