Patient reviews for Dr. Sobia Moghis
Great !!
Listens to the patient. Explains her diagnosis.
Doctor was good and made my kid comfortable
On time, and personable. Gets to issue and seems to be proactive. Will keep coming back to her.
Unprofessional front desk employees. After visit you should be ready hidden fees.
Professional and attentive. Listened to my issue and provided good feedback.
Took forever to have my results back. I called thousands of time but no answers. And the only time someone took the phone was to tell me that I would be called back, but nothing.. Until today I never hear back from her office. Just don’t go there if you want professionalism.
Dr Moghis was very kind, attentive and understanding. She took her time and paid attention to my concerns.
The front desk wasn't very friendly but the nurse and the doctor who took care of me were really nice.
I could not possibly be less pleased with my visit. The one thing I wanted the appointment for she didn't help me with. Instead of asking me the right questions and listening to my answers, she quickly jumped to conclusions and prescribed me multiple painkillers and then I somehow ended up getting around 8 vials of blood drawn for reasons I still don't know? Will definitely not be returning to her.
Very good beside manner, attentive and knowledgeable. Clean office and restrooms.
Dr. Moghis was very professional and kind. Her staff was very attentive. She gave educational health feedback.
I do not recommend Dr. Moghis. I had a poor experience during my first visit: - Aside from a few basic health questions (which others had already asked me), she did not ask me any questions about myself. So, her recommendations about my fitness were not useful (for example, she recommend I start going on light walks. I regularly run and hike so this was not useful). - I did not find Dr. Moghis to be very warm or empathetic. She was stone-cold each time we chatted and seemed uninterested very much to be just going through the motions. - Rather than focus on the issue I came in for, she chose to focus on my family history and pushed me to take a genetic screening. Within 5 minutes, without any time to dicuss it, ask questions, or consider costs, the assistant had started drawing my blood for the test. I had to bring us back to the main problem 2 separate times. - As others mention, there are lots of ads and videos in the office for cosmetic procedures (including vaginal lasering). I found this distasteful and I also took it as another indication that Dr. Moghis may receive kickbacks from these companies, given her pushiness on the procedure as mentioned above. - The facilities are dumpy and dated. On the plus side, the assistant was pleasant and accommodating. But she never introduced herself so I don't know her name.
Thank you Dr. Sobia for clearing all the doubts.
Dr. Moghis is very attentive and honestly seems like she cares about you as a patient. The office is quiet and calm, with a reasonable wait time. Definitely would recommend this office to others.
Dr. Moghis was very professional and friendly. She was also informative and had great recommendations that fit my lifestyle.
Doctor was nice and friendly but not very knowledgeable, did not seem reliable. Was not familiar with my medical condition. Office is not clean. The waiting area has dirty upholstery and ripped carpet flooring. The blood draw area floor was dirty. Very uncomfortable and scary.
Did not listen well to my specific complaints, seemed to give generic advice/recommendations not specific to my issues, and gave me wrong info about a test I asked about
This was only my first visit. The doctor and staff were great however, the waiting times before and during my visit were slightly more than expected. Overall they provided a great service.
Very friendly, professional and thorough.
Dr. Moghis was kind in understanding my concerns and current condition. She provided very honest advice that extended beyond just pills and therapy, as others may advise. Truly refreshing.
Very convenient and polite. I arrived an hour before my appointment. Her assistant called me back and started my exam within a few minutes.
I was pleasantly surprised with how easy, stress-free, and drama-free this visit was. She took care of me quickly, efficiently, and we got done what we needed to right away. The paperwork was simple and fast, and even when I use ZocDoc usually the office STILL makes me fill everything out. There were only 1.5 pages, with really basic/necessary stuff. At most doctor's offices, the staff are usually drama as well. These ladies are very nice and worry-free! 5 Stars for everything - HIGHLY recommend! p.s. If you're not into small talk like me, this is a fantastic place. I wouldn't come here looking to have long, personal conversations with the staff if that's what you want.
Everyone was friendly, the appointment was quick, and I got everything I came for figured out!
Great she’s a listener and observant , hopefully she is a good decision maker on her diagnosis too will see her .
My entire experience was pleasant from start to finish. I was greeted by friendly staff , processed immediately, and my appointment began on time. The nurse practitioner that saw me was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took her time to listen to my numerous concerns. I just moved to Seattle and it is safe to say I have found my new primary care doctor. Well worth the traffic.
Dr Moghis is passable as a doctor, but her office administration is a disaster. She seems generally disinterested in her patients, often talks too quickly to be understood, and is impatient if you seek clarification. It's insane to me that this office has a 4 star rating on here. There is no online payment system, so you must use the phone, though they will harass you via email for copays that could've easily been paid in the office. The answering machine hangs up without putting you through to an operator. After your appointment, a robot caller will harass you and leave voicemails with no apparent end. In addition, her waiting room is filled with life sized cardboard ads for labiaplasty procedures and other unusual cosmetic surgeries. Could you pick a more politically fraught medical procedure to push on your patients? How much did they pay you to put up those ads? AVOID.
Great service and attentive team
Everyone was very nice & helpful. I felt that my concerns were addressed thoroughly and my questions answered.
Dr. Moghis was great, she talked with me about all my concerns and was very through.
Dr. Sonia was great.
Sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy three times! Front office is incompetent. Never returning.
Diagnosis was good
Totally not recommend, I did a fasting here but never heard back my result. Then I received massive spam emails to recommend me do skin laser etc.
Great office area and all staff were pleasant.
I went in for an illness and got one of the medicines I needed, but while I was there I asked her to fill routine birth control for me. She agreed and said she would send it in to my pharmacy. Fast forward 2 weeks and it is STILL not filled. I have called multiple times and I keep being told that it will be filled that same day. It still has not been filled. I now need to find and visit another doctor for a very routine prescription because this office has not done their job. What a hassle and waste of cash. DO NOT waste your time here.
She was a good provider but I waited almost 30 min in my room until she came in to see me.
I went to see the doctor due to an infectious disease, the doctor was was quick to diagnosis based on the visual appearance. Where i feel the clinic failed me was their disorganized clinic. I was told by the doctor I would hear back on my test results in 2 days, and she would follow up with me. I did not hear back from the doctor at all, i made multiple calls as I have an infant in house and wanted to understand when I was not contagious and whether they have the results, they mentioned they changed their lab and that is causing the delay (not my problem, the SLA should have been defined and acceptable before they switched labs). I finally called on day 4 and heard the results are in, but cannot be shared until the doctor reviews them. Makes sense.. then again there was no call back until a day and a half later to say actually you stopped being contagious 48 hours after you started the medication. Overall I feel this could have been handled better. I was told the manager would call be back on day 3, today is day 9, still no call from the manager. Clearly they arent respecting the customers (patients) time and needs
I would 100% recommend Dr Moghis. She was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable at my visit and I was kind of nervous. She continued to ask “do you have any question?”. I loved that.
Good professional and fast
Very hospitable staff. Moghis was very kind and thorough. I'd be happy to recommend others to Moghis.
I would NEVER recommend this doctor. Without getting into personal details, they are not professional and refused to right details on a work note. They put light duty, which I needee, but my work needed limitations, which they refused to put. This caused me to be put out of work. Also, the meds they prescribed did not work, an they continually kept trying to use treatments (like a skeletal exam) when I had stomach pain. (After finding it was just stomach issues). -- 2018.
It was awesome visit. Docter listen to our problems very patiently and in friend ly manner. And give us enough time. And the supporting staff were also awesome.
Loved the doctor! Had all my questions answered thoroughly and she was very nice.
I did not like her style at all. She was cold, and I found her a bit rude and dismissive. Not what I expected at all based off other reviews.
My visit with Dr Moghis has been the best medical experience since moving to the states in 2010. She was courteous, extremely thorough and did not brush aside any of my concerns. I felt confident resting my medical responsibilities in her hands. Love her team as well. I absolutely recommend going to her as your primary care.
Worst experience at the doctor I have ever had.
She is totally disinterested in her patients. And when she tells you something is covered by your insurance, don’t believe her.
I felt inundated by the attempts sell me on laser hair removal, face injections, etc while waiting for the doctor so I immediately felt like it was going to be an upsell situation. Sure enough I had to repeatedly turn down additional tests she recommended as "preventative care" rather than talking about why I was there in the first place. What made me decide to never go back was the follow up though. Like other reviewers, I received emails, texts, and voice mails over the next few days in ridiculous numbers. I finally called and asked to be taken off all lists on the third day when it got really out of hand. Ironically, three weeks later I had to call in for my test results since I hadn't heard anything. The receptionist told me that since I asked to be taken off the list they thought I wouldn't want to be contacted with my test results either. Because that makes sense. Clearly profit is more important here than patient care. Having to decipher if I actually need something or I'm just an additional revenue source isn't something I want from a doctor. Save yourself the time and go to another doctor that you can stick with.
She was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, funny and kind. Loved her.
