“Sofia was a good listener. She also had a very gentle touch. I had two things removed and she asked if she could send them for biopsy. I agreed and luckily we did because one of them was abnormal and getting she’s doing follow up treatment for me. She was very helpful very kind and extremely gentle. I highly recommend her.”

About Sofia Hanger
Sofia Hanger, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant who completed her undergraduate degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Society for Dermatological Physician Assistants. Unique to many practices, Sofia has received further comprehensive training in medical and cosmetic dermatology with our doctors — beyond what is expected of most physician assistants. Our patients have already taken to her caring and thoughtful approach to their skin problems, and have appreciated the increased accessibility that she offers to the practice. Sofia is a Virginia native who enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and watching her beloved Washington Football Team.
