Patient education is important in helping people understand their bodies and the steps needed to improve or maintain their health. It’s a key part of how I approach medicine, particularly when it comes to getting to know my patients in order to deliver the individualized care they deserve. My passions in medicine lie in preventive and obesity medicine, as well as promoting women’s health. I'm happy to help you today with any of your healthcare concerns.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
The primary care provider should be the go-to for a patient and their needs. Help the patient with their health and be able to put the whole picture together.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I love to cook, spend time with family, travel, watch movies and TV, and play board games.
