I had a great experience here, I waited awhile but once I was in everyone was friendly and really knew their stuff. They just wanted to make me feel comfortable.
Dr. Shi is very professional, and the staff is polite, and very helpful. I would recommend Dr. Shi to those who are looking for a doctor.
Wait time is terrible, there is no point in making appointment. Even if the doctor is not busy, they don’t keep up the appointment timings. No idea what’s with their scheduling process. Doctor was nice and caring, but I just went for my annual physical. It was quick and I didn’t spend more than 15min with the doctor.
Went in for my annual physical. As per usual, the nurses and doctor were clear, professional, and had a great bedside manner. They also completed the exam quickly with very little wait, which I appreciated.
Dr. Chien is very kind and personable. His receptionist is friendly. The office is bright and clean and helps you take your mind off of doctor visit anxiety. Looking forward to going to him for my primary care needs.
My appointment was at 10 am and it’s 11:50 and I haven’t been helped , I had to stop someone and ask them why is other people that came after me being helped first. I been waiting for two hours and still have to keep waiting to be helped by a doctor this is unprofessional. How can other people that came after me can be helped makes me feel like they don’t appreciate my time
Dr. Ben-Zvi is thoughtful, conscientious, kind and funny. He recommends appropriate treatment, doesn't overdiagnose / overprescribe, and genuinely seems to have his patients' best interest at heart.
Dr. Suarez was extremely kind and personable. He was patient-focused and thorough. I would highly recommend.
Really great doctor, friendly and considerate. Answered all my questions, I felt well cared for.
Great bedside manner and wonderful service. Would recommend not processing blood draws in a room where the patient is waiting. Just a weird experience, but not a huge deal.
Primary Care Doctors NYC
A primary care doctor (PCP) is generally the first healthcare professional that a patient sees for common, non-emergency problems. They are the doctors involved in your overall care. Generally, visits to a PCP involve health checkups, diagnosis and treatment of common problems, medical advice for your concerns, and managing chronic illnesses like diabetes. Not only do they provide preventive care, but they also refer you to medical specialists when needed.
You can choose your primary care provider from the following types of PCPs:

How to choose your PCP
Your primary care doctor is the constant point of contact for your general well-being. Primary care doctors are able to provide comprehensive care, because they get well-versed with your medical records over time, and changing PCPs frequently might not be ideal for your care. It is important that you keep the following factors in mind while choosing a PCP:
- Office hours: Check the doctor’s availability to see if their appointment time slots are well-suited for you in the long run.
- Location: Ensure the doctor’s office is located at a convenient location.
- Insurance: If you are not paying out-of-pocket, it is important to ensure that your PCP accepts your insurance. You can find a list of in-network doctors on Zocdoc; simply filter your search with the respective insurance carrier and plan.
- Type of PCP: Pick a type of PCP depending on the nature of your needs.
- Patient reviews: While booking on Zocdoc, it is easy to browse through trustworthy patient reviews. These reviews can help give you an idea of a doctor’s style of practice.
