About Dr. Stanley Ikezi
Dr. Stanley Ikezi is a Double Board Certified Pain Management Specialist. He is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist as well as a Board Certified Interventional Pain Management Physician.
Dr. Ikezi completed his undergraduate education at the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education (CUNY Medical School) and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, graduating with high honors (Magna Cum Laude). He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. Following residency, he pursued an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, one of the top ten hospitals in the nation. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Management from the State University of New York, Binghamton.
Dr. Ikezi is known for his ability to listen attentively and provide compassionate, comprehensive care through a multidisciplinary approach that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. With over a decade of clinical expertise in medicine, his empathetic demeanor and exceptional skill in pain management have earned him a reputation as a trusted physician among his peers and patients.

I absolutely loved my first experience with this medical provider. The location is great. Easy to park. The office is extremely clean and well kept. The front desk staff was very warm and welcoming upon arrival. I actually was about 20 mims late and was still seen in roughly under 30 mins. The doctor was amazing. He listened to my concerns. I suggested a course of action that would work for me and he actually agreed with me. I’m definitely looking forward to my next appt to begin treatment. I’m confident that with him as my provider this pain will be a thing of the past. Give him a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I visited Dr Ikesi for sciatica and I’m very satisfied with my experience. He’s a great listener and made me feel comfortable. In terms of the diagnosis, we talked about the best course of action to get a clear understanding of my condition and start the treatment asap. He has a an accurate knowledge about all the aspects related to sciatica and could answer all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend him and will definitely have him as my family go-to physician.

The office was extremely clean. The staff was engaging and helpful. The doctor was interested in my problem. He engaged with me well, listened to my ailments without trying to help me make up words to accommodate his scenario and he heard what I had to say before offering a game plan. The doctor was easy to talk to, I didn't feel rushed or nervous and I was very comfortable in the environment. You can really appreciate someone listening to you without interrupting when you want to relate what's going on but are not sure how to word your dilemma. I felt listened to, heard and I felt good about the relationship that was established initially.

Although Dr. Ikesi was not able to provide the service I requested (ZocDoc mistakenly listed him under Acupuncturist list), he was so warm and personable. He provided me with a referral to an alternate location which I thought was very thoughtful. He said he may consider becoming a certified acupuncturist being that many patients have inquired of this medicinal method and I encouraged him to!!!!!

Let me preface this review by saying I hate going to the doctor. I raises my blood pressure. Dr. Ikezi’s office has a no stress vibe. The medical staff is attentive and efficient. Dr. Ikezi is informative and truly listens to what lead you to make an appointment. I definitely feel like I’m in good hands. Will definitely update as my treatment progresses.

Honestly one of the best offices I’ve been to. It was very clean and I was taken in right away. I’ve been to many doctors for pain management and treatment , and I can honestly say Dr Ikezi is very knowledgeable, thorough and easy to talk to. He listened to my symptoms and he came up with a great treatment plan and offered me options that other doctors never mentioned. The front desk staff was efficient and friendly and they even got me in sooner than my original appointment time which was amazing. I live in Brooklyn and the drive was about 30- 45 minutes to the office but after todays appointment , I don’t regret the choice to seek treatment alittle further out. Definitely worth it and will be recommending others to this office. Looking forward to my follow up appointment !
