Stella Okobi, owner and founder of Streams of Hope & Wellness, enjoys communicating and educating her clients about the importance of taking an active role in their health and mental health. Sometimes this is easier said than done, but she believes that as an advocate of mental health, building a trusting relationship with her clients will encourage them not just to ask questions but to engage in a dialogue that promotes better health-related decisions. Stella Okobi is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings as well as telemedicine. She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Molloy University.
Stella is qualified to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for adolescents, children, and adults. Her specialties include, but are not limited to, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression. Her favorite quote is, “When you feel like it is too much, it probably is too much. I am here to tell you, do not overthink or blame yourself for anything that is happening right now.” Stella wholeheartedly believes that having the will to make a change is pivotal.
