Originally from New York City, Diana has been known throughout her nursing career for her natural ability to connect with others and make them feel understood.
She earned her BSN from Adelphi University, her MSN from Pace University, and completed her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing at Miami University. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in both psychiatry and family practice.
Diana’s approach is grounded in Existential Therapy, encouraging clients to explore life’s meaning, personal responsibility, and the power of choice. She believes every person has a unique purpose and works collaboratively with clients to help them find clarity, strength, and healing. She is passionate about building trusting therapeutic relationships, emphasizing empathy, presence, and nonjudgmental support.
With a background in rehabilitation, neurosurgery, and women’s health—including early experience at NYU Rehabilitative Center—Diana brings a well-rounded perspective to her psychiatric care. Her transition to Florida in 2008 opened new doors in mental health and allowed her to be closer to family, which she values deeply.
Clients often describe Diana as compassionate, sincere, and easy to talk to. Her genuine care and active listening make her a strong ally in times of vulnerability and change. She is driven by the progress she sees in her patients and their resilience in the face of life’s challenges.

I believe people in healthcare should be more affirming to queer patients. People are queer. It's cruel to say to a queer person that it's "your choice" and "your life" because we do not choose whom we are attracted to, and it's passive-aggressive, making it sound like it's a bad choice to be making. I wasn't a fan of this, and I don't understand how someone could make remarks like that in health care (for mental health, might I add), in 2026...
