Dr. Clop has been practicing physical medicine and rehabilitation since 2000. Originally from Northern Virginia, she earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Following graduation, she completed two years of postgraduate medical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Over the next four years, she received advanced training in her chosen specialty, physical medicine and rehabilitation, at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Subsequently, she went into private practice, opening her own physical medicine and rehabilitation practice. In the summer of 2003, she moved back to Northern Virginia and joined Town Center Orthopaedic Associates.
As a physiatrist, Dr. Clop’s practice is focused on nonsurgical treatment of acute and chronic pain, including arthritis; bone, nerve and muscle injuries; nervous system disorders; and sports-related injuries. She uses state-of-the-art technology to diagnose the nature and extent of injuries and prescribe treatment to maximize patients’ functional outcome and restore them to a pain-free life.
In addition to her extensive medical commitments, Dr. Clop enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her children. She also speaks, reads, and writes Spanish fluently.
