Today was my first visit. Front staff were polite and very efficient. I arrived 15 minute before my appointment and was immediately put into a room. I waited 10-15 minutes, but this was right on time for my appointment. Dr. Rein listened to my lengthly list of information and asked good questions. She was very succinct with a no-nonsense style and great bed-side manner. Very happy to have found her.

I liked her but I felt her office staff was distracted (playing with their phones etc) and the wait time was extremely long - a half hour later than my scheduled appointment, and then when I left to do a test she was difficult to get to come back into the office. So essentially my exam happened an hour late. In addition the location is obscure (bottom / basement of a brownstone), which was not made clear to me so I went to the wrong location (upstairs). I had to call the doctors service to get someone to answer the phone because the receptionist wouldn’t answer the phone. Someone then walked out of the brownstone to direct me to the actual office. So even though Dr. Rein was lovely, thorough, insightful I was annoyed by the other factors.

Dr. Rein was clear and friendly during my visit. What really stood out about my appointment was that she drew my blood herself and it was completely painless, I barely even noticed! I am really bad with blood draws, I almost always faint, and this was the best one I’ve had by far!

Dr. Rein is truly a beacon of light in my life - she thinks about the big picture and is so helpful with my particular anxiety (white coat syndrome). I send everyone I can to her and the practice, and although it's such a hurdle for me to go and see her, I am always BEYOND grateful to her after every visit. She's wonderful!

She was very good. However, I was at first called into my appointment a few minutes late, which was fine. A person who arrived after me then complained and I was taken out of the room and the other person was seen instead, making me another half hour late. When I said something I was told the doctor is always running late. This whole thing was very unprofessional. Otherwise I had a good experience and would recommend the doctor.

Doctor Rein is a good physician, however I was a little uncomfortable about the volume that the doctor and her staff discussed other patient's issues. From the lobby I was able to hear the doctor and staff on the phone discussing urine samples, blood loss, etc, with her patients.
