Dr. Luibou Uslar joined the Medical Arts team, a comprehensive medical group serving patients at four locations in New York City. She is a knowledgeable and compassionate Board Certified Internal Medicine doctor who performs comprehensive evaluations for all her patients. Dr. Uslar focuses on patients in their entirety instead of addressing isolated illnesses, considering physical, emotional, social, and mental health to provide personalized care.
Dr. Uslar earned her medical degree from Universität Hamburg Medizinische Fakultät and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She accepts patients from 19 years onward and is currently accepting new patients for acute and chronic medical problems, preventive care, and disease screening. Dr. Uslar performs comprehensive health evaluations, including annual physicals, general consultations, and management of conditions such as asthma, diabetes, blood pressure, and sleep disturbances.
At Medical Arts clinics, Dr. Uslar and her team provide in-office disease screening using MRI, X-ray, CT Scan, ultrasound, cardio, vascular studies, ECHO, event monitors, NCS, EEG, sleep studies, EVOX, PFT, and allergy testing. Most tests are available during patients’ first visit. In assessing patients, Dr. Uslar utilizes her team physicians, and STAT (wet) results are available in urgent situations.
As a physician passionate about helping people prevent disease and maintain health, Dr. Uslar believes medicine is an art of creating a doctor-patient partnership that supports healing through science, trust, and compassion.
