About Dr. Stephen Murphy
Dr. Murphy grew up in Manalapan, New Jersey, graduated from Manalapan High School in 1996, and then went on to graduate from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2000. Dr. Murphy suffered with severe migraine headaches after college until he discovered Chiropractic. After being treated with Chiropractic care, his migraines resolved. He was inspired to become a Chiropractor and pursued his doctorate in Chiropractic at the prestigious Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. After graduating, he moved back to New Jersey to pursue his Chiropractic career to help the people of New Jersey. Dr. Murphy has been serving Freehold, New Jersey since 2009. Dr. Murphy and his team provide superior patient care to the people of Freehold, New Jersey, as well as people in Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean counties. Dr. Murphy is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He listened attentively as I described my pain and within minutes, without the use of medication or machines, I was pain-free.

When seeking a chiropractor I was leery because I didn't want to be more "damaged". Dr. Murphy was able to prove to me at the first visit that I made the right choice going to see him. He's very thorough at the first evaluation. I have been seeing doc for 2 yrs. now and honestly haven't felt this good in years.

Dr. Murphy made me feel comfortable and confident that I was going to receive proper treatment for my back. He is very knowledgeable and focuses on the root of the issue. He also provided me with great advice to prevent future damage. At the end of every session, he teaches me different techniques to exercise my back and neck muscles safely. As a musician, I am required to stand for long periods of time. Dr. Murphy understands this and bases his plan of action around it.
