About Dr. Stephen Nimbargi
We provide physical exams for all ages, including sick and urgent visits, ultrasound exams, EKGs, sports physicals, immigration physicals with vaccines, autonomic nervous testing, chronic care management, home visits for homebound patients, nerve conduction testing, platelet-rich plasma injections into joints, and cosmetic PRP. We provide weight loss injections- Ozempic and Mounjaro weekly injections at competitive rates. I completed my medical education at Christian Medical College, Vellore, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, followed by a residency in Pediatrics at Henry Ford Hospital.

Unfortunately I was not seen by the doctor I made the appointment to see instead I was seen by students which in my opinion was very unprofessional so I did not receive the care my insurance paid for me to receive therefore I do not recommend wasting your time with this provider.

Never even saw the doctor, or nurse practitioner… only STUDENTS. I have double insurance and my copay was INSANE, when it should have been $0.00. Will never go here again, suggest no one does either.

The people who attended to me were very attentive, but I didn't like being in a room with four people who listened while one asked questions. There was also a lack of privacy. There was a man chewing gum while drawing my blood. Furthermore, the other nurse (who seemed more experienced) was worried that he might mix up the blood samples and mistake mine for my son's... I was very confused! Furthermore, Dr. Nimbarger wasn't there. The office was empty, and I was seen very quickly. Everyone was friendly and kind, but I didn't feel very confident.

Lots of kids and the waiting room smelled like diapers. To be expected for a Children’s Doctor. The kids were loud as well, also to be expected. Other than that, it was fine.

I thought I was seeing a neurologist but he is not a neurologist but he is the FIRST doctor that actually cared what I was saying and listened to me and is REALLY trying to help me figure out why I’m having these headaches and doesn’t scare me like a doctor. I am so much more comfortable with him than ANY doctor I have EVER seen. He is very knowledgeable in all areas and very helpful. His staff, ALL of his staff is the nicest people I have ever met. I Will definitely be back and continue care with him. Thank you so much to your whole team.

I initially appeared virtually. My insurance company notified me that they no longer cover virtual visits. So I notified Dr. Nimbarghi of the same. He then instructed me to make a in office visit with him. I conversed with him telepathically and expressed to him my concerns about my medical conditions no being treated by a pain management professional and because of my already existing conditions I needed a chronic pain management professional referral and my pain medication isn’t being covered by my insurance, when it should be. I explained to him that as my primary care physician I needed him to execute a prior authorization and I asked for a pain management authorization and referral to be submitted to my choice of chronic pain management. He finally did the referral a week later. He never addressed my concerns with being charged for services that should be covered by my insurance provider. (Humana). Dr. Nimbarghi told me we need to part ways telephonically. Never in writing. Agreed

Dr. Nimbargi was very concerned about my health conditions and he immediately started devising a plan to help me with getting safe and effective treatment. He did not hesitate to tell me what requirements I had to meet. He took the time out of his hectic work schedule to address my insurance company and my health issues. He immediately requested medical records from previous doctors. But he made it perfectly clear that he would reach his own conclusions and render the safest care possible while taking into consideration my underlying preexisting health conditions and concerns.

I had an appt set for my daughter. I waited for him to show up for a half an hour but he never did. I called the office and they said he was running late and would call me. 3 hours went by so I called again. This time they put me on hold to speak to him. Waited long for him to answer and think I just had a question. Instead of doing the appt through the app, he asked only me questions about my daughter. Didn't even know she was in the room. He prescribed 3 new meds at once and then didn't send them in. Can't get ahold of the office since. Idk if they even used my insurance or not.

The office and the environment. layed back seem more friendly & inviting and not so judgemental. It shows that the Doctor was very concerned with certain things and took my opinion and my concerns serious. I appreciate that approach, it made me feel a lot more comfortable.

Just be aware the doctor is a primary care and not a specialist for skin care as signed up for so insurance won't pay for the appt if you come for a specialist visit. The staff were great it just wasn't the service listed so I did not receive it.
