Dr. Steve Malayil is a chiropractor who works with patients who have various orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. He is passionate about providing hands-on and patient-centered care, and has attained extensive certifications which he uses to guide each patient's recovery.
Dr. Steve performs a wide variety of chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Active Release, ConnecTX, Functional Movement Taping, and the use of SOT blocks. He has partaken in a number of seminars including ART, Contemporary Rehabilitation-Principles and applications, Functional Taping for Musculoskeletal Injuries, RockTape, ConnecTX and ultimate achievement of the FMT, FTMI, ConnecTX, and ART certification. Dr. Steve always strives to be current with the most modern techniques and is currently working towards several more advanced chiropractic certifications. He is up to date with the most recent evidence-based treatments strategies to create individualized treatment plans ensuring that his patients are able to return to their favorite activities.
Dr. Steve is a native of Parsippany, New Jersey and graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2016. When he is away from the office, he enjoys working out at the gym and playing with his golden retriever, Lionel. Dr. Steve is also a devoted fan of the NY Knicks, Yankees, and Giants.

The entire clinic is noisy and as such inhospitable. I had trouble focusing and hearing what my doctor was telling me. There are multiple rooms adjacent with dividers rather than walls so the noise is a cacophony of everyone talking at once. Unpleasant and stressful.

I asked for confirmation that my insurance is accepted when I booked a couple weeks ago and was told (when I received a call from their office to change my appointment time shortly after booking) that they would let me know the next day. I received a text confirming my appoint the next day. But when I showed up and after completing all the paperwork, the doc called me into his treatment room to begin by saying they don’t accept my insurance but that if I also book with the acupuncturist then my copay would be less.
This process was deceiving and as of this writing, my insurance is still listed on the page as one they accept.
