About Dr. Katarzyna Sala

Dr. Katarzyna Sala earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Loyola University Chicago and went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. Her training includes a wide range of chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Motion Palpation, Flexion/Distraction, Activator Method, and soft tissue therapy.
Driven by her own journey through personal health challenges, Dr. Sala developed a deep appreciation for the importance of movement and functional wellness. She believes that the ability to stay active and move freely is one of the most powerful indicators of overall well-being. Her goal is to get patients out of pain as well as educate and empower each patient so that they can regain and maintain optimum health through customized care and informed choices.
Dr. Sala is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends seminars to stay current with evidence-based practices in chiropractic care and rehabilitation.
She is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions, including sports-related injuries, pregnancy-related discomfort and other musculoskeletal conditions. I’ve seen a number of chiropractors in the NYC area (have had to jump around due to moving and also insurance considerations). This was easily the least productive experience I’ve had. Basically paid copys over two sessions, in which I learned that my back was tight and I should roll it out to loosen my muscles. The two visits lasted about 30 minutes total. Second visit was only 10 minutes. I recognize that chiropractors are not magicians with back pain… but in most of my experiences with other providers significant time and care was put into actually working my back muscles, using electronic stimulation, scapulas, massage guns, etc., to actually HELP relieve the back tightness, in addition to advisory on things I can do at home. I am obviously aware that my back is tight… that’s why I’m here? Whatever my insurance is paying, it’s too much. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend unless you can afford to pay someone for the most basic of insights.

My visit was very helpful, the front desk greeted me and I didn't wait very long to be seen. Dr. Sala is very sweet and when adjusting me she was very gentle. The consultation went well and felt a relief on my lower back. Will definitely see her next week =)

Dr. Sala gave me a clear explanation of what she was doing, seeing, and why I was experiencing the pain I am. She implemented a personalized treatment plan on site and gave me a home care plan as well. Very considerate. I even brought my family to Dr Sala.

I would highly recommend Dr Sala. She was helpful with explaining what was happening with my body. After treatment, she even provided some helpful stretches and exercises to help alleviate the pain. Looking forward to continuing treatment!
