About Dr. Keith West
Dr. Keith West grew up in upstate New York where he enjoyed a lifetime of competitive sports; focusing primarily on soccer, tennis, and cycling. Athletics taught him the virtues of hard work and perseverance, attributes which he carries over into his professional career.
Dr. West graduated as valedictorian from Owego Free Academy, and went on to further his education at Cornell University where he received his Bachelors degree in biological sciences. Following a year of travelling and teaching in Spain and Colombia, Dr. West continued his educational journey at New York Chiropractic College where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with honors and completed a yearlong internship at the Miami VA Medical Center.
Dr. West follows an evidence-based approach to health care in order to provide his patients with proven treatment protocols. Techniques employed include, hands on adjustments, Cox Flexion and Distraction, decompression therapy, and Active Release. Dr. West also recognizes the importance of proper muscular balance and incorporates functional rehabilitation exercises into his treatment plans when appropriate. Dr. West works within a multidisciplinary group that includes orthopedists, physical therapists, acupuncturists, physiatrists, podiatrists and massage therapists to provide the most effective treatment and the relief you need.

The chiropractors here are excellent with medical support and also with managing your appointments with insurance.
The biggest hurdle is that their appointments are not accurate in ZocDoc and you will be frequently contacted and told to pick another less convenient time.
Then the staff aren’t rude but they definitely sound like they are uninterested in helping you or would rather be doing anything else, anywhere else.

The receptionist was really kind and was super helpful with the check-in process. Dr. West was an active listener, paying attention to all my concerns, He then made some wonderful suggestions as to how to go about treating my posture issues. He’s very kind and friendly, I felt very comfortable in his care. Def recommended if you’re looking for a chiro!
