My first goal in therapy is to make you feel welcome, safe, and understood. The second is to provide you with the support and perspective to take a look at where you're getting stuck and figure out a plan to make things go more smoothly. While I work with a wide range of people, my specialty is treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and related conditions, including Hoarding, Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), skin-picking, hair-pulling (Trichotillomania), and Health Anxiety.
I also specialize in Panic Attacks, Phobias, and other forms of Anxiety. Many problems can't be addressed in an office setting alone, so depending on what we are working on, we may leave the office during our sessions, and I am often available to make home visits.
You can also find me at my Union Square office in NYC, where in addition to doing the same OCD and anxiety-focused work, my team and I also provide a full Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) program for adults.
