I am a licensed Psychologist in the state of Georgia and theDirector of the Kovner Center for Behavioral Health and Psychological Testing. In addition to treating clients, I supervise Clinical Psychology Practicum Students from Mercer University. I received my Doctoral degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 1990. I received training in Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Marital Therapy, Sex Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Gottman Therapy, Mindfulness, Emotional Focus Therapy, Reality Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Hypnosis, DBT and others. I have a compassionate and caring style of interaction with my clients and can help people dive into the layers of their conflict to find understanding and growth to heal their psychological wounds. I have worked in a variety of work settings, including Community Mental Health Centers, a State Psychiatric Hospital, Hospital Outpatient Center, and The Charleston Naval Hospital. I do not prescribe medication.
