About Dr. Steven Sommer
Dr. Steven Sommer graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University following his Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University. He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Sommer has been featured in both the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) and the Atlanta Business Chronicle. He has provided chiropractic services at Chiropractic & Sports Injury of Atlanta and Tucker Chiropractic. Dr. Sommer utilizes a combination of techniques, including Diversified, Activator, Thompson, Applied Kinesiology, Active Release Technique, and Extremity Adjusting. His mission is to restore health in people of all ages through natural chiropractic care. His treatments have helped thousands of patients manage their conditions effectively, allowing them to return to their normal lives and activities. Dr. Sommer is also passionate about giving back to the community. He volunteers his time coaching youth basketball and serves as an active board member of the Duluth-Norcross Kiwanis Club, which focuses on community service benefiting children. Committed to bettering the lives of those around him through natural, conservative treatment, Dr. Sommer combines the latest technologies with evidence-based chiropractic care to help patients reach their health goals. I am a long-time patient of this practice. Dr. Sommer and his practice are consistently excellent. He and his staff are friendly, efficient, and professional. My visit was very productive. Dr. Sommer explained what appeared to be the primary cause of my pain and through several preliminary manipulations and treatments to relax and open the vertebrae in my lower back I felt much better physically. I look forward to future visits so that my pain and discomfort will be resolved.

Did NOT try to drag out the process longer than it needed to be, and said we would try other avenues if I wasn't seeing relief soon.

Making and going to medical appointments is usually a stressful situation for me, but the pain was finally enough to make me seek care. I am relieved that I found Dr. Sommer when searching my in-network insurance list. The appointment process was easy and I was able to fill out all forms online ahead of time. All the staff members were very nice and everyone made me feel welcome and comfortable right away in this super clean modern office. Dr. Sommer listened carefully to my concerns and took the time to explain his diagnosis and provided great care right away. I left feeling much better. I will not hesitate to go back when I need chiropractic care.

For the Massage Therapy, Call instead of Zodoc Booking!!! Yes it is the same office, but different specialist-who’s hands are amazing btw!!-but yes, CALL so that you are definitely booked and seen.
Areigna is fantastic!
What made this experience the best that I’ve ever had is for my recent condition-learning of my curvature and tingling fingers and excruciating random back pains-she happens to specialize in osteopathic massage (pressure points)! Her knowledge compliments Dr. Steven’s treatments for me and I am confident that i will recover with their care together.
I cannot wait for my return and I hope you find them both soon!

I really enjoyed my first visit to Dr. Sommer's office. The office was clean and it smelled very nice. The staff was attentive and friendly and they got me in to see Dr. Sommer within 10 minutes of my arrival. Dr. Sommer was very thorough in explaining my x-rays and with my course of treatment. He ensured my comfort at every step and I felt like he truly cared about my healing and his practice.
After receiving treatment, I instantly felt better. I look forward to coming back to make sure everything is on the up and up. I would highly recommend Dr. Sommer and his team.

Although, this is my first chiropractor- I’ve only been twice, but my relief has been real.
The first day back pain was gone within the first day- although i know i have long term underlying issues that still need work. My tingling finger issues were gone in first 15 minutes! Unfortunately, my other 3 fingers are experiencing that tingling numb annoyance now. However, I will follow the doctors orders.
The ice pack on my nerves were great and great on my muscles were an instant relief. I’m also scheduling a massage with their practice, as well, to compliment my treatment visits and their CBD helps me sleep with no pain.
I’m looking forward to a lifelong relationship on healing with Dr. Sommer. Trusting the process is with the time and money spent here. ??
