With over 18 years of internal medicine experience, Dr. Sahgal has focused on providing quality medical care in a comfortable environment where the patient always comes first. Since its founding in 1999, Essen Medical Associates, PC has grown into a multi-specialty practice that now attends to patient needs across 5 office locations. A true innovator, Dr. Sahgal’s practice was one of the initial practices to achieve ‘Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home’ designation in the state of New York. Additionally, as one of the ‘Early Adopters’ of Electronic Health Record in New York City, Dr. Sahgal was recognized with a visit from Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and the Health Commissioners of both the city and state. Prior to starting Essen Medical Associates, Dr. Sahgal worked as Medical Director at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. He currently holds clinical staff privileges at Bronx Lebanon Hospital and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

I wouldn't recommend this guy at all especially if your apart of the LGBTQ community!!! I was misgenderd by him as right after I mention the word trans. Worse service ever! I am staying with my regular primary care doctor. Not to mention he's a doctor!???
