About Dr. Susan Conklin

After booking with our provider at The Vascular Experts, our office will reach out to you to review the reason you are seeking care, confirm your insurance information, and collect any additional details to ensure you receive the care you need. This review must take place before your scheduled appointment. Susan McKenna is Board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Fairfield University and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Saint Joseph. A local Connecticut resident, she is a current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Connecticut APRN Society. She is licensed and in good standing with the State of Connecticut as an APRN. Susan began her career at Hartford Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Thoracic Vascular Surgery. She then transitioned to private practice, working for several years in gastroenterology. She also gained experience in in-home care, long-term care, and sub-acute rehab before joining The Vascular Experts, bringing more than ten years of nursing experience to the practice.
