Getting to know Dr. Susan Magorno

I am a doctorally prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner, having earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of San Diego. I have been a nurse since 1996, beginning my career at the bedside in critical care. Throughout my experience, I recognized that mental health challenges permeate all areas of care, which inspired me to pursue my nurse practitioner training in psychiatry to support the foundation of health as a whole. I am a firm believer in a holistic approach to care, and my goal is to work together for a happier, more fulfilled you. I use medications as a bridge for many conditions while also focusing on lifestyle modifications to ensure continued success.
