I have seen Dr. Shi for Pap smear, colposcopy, and LEEP procedure. She is very kind, patient, and well informed.
The only downside for me was language barrier between the office personnel and myself. Any time I called they misunderstood my questions or put me on hold for long periods. It can be frustrating.
Dr Shi is fantastic, though. Worth the trip.

I came in for a routine pap smear and pelvic exam. Dr. Shi was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The whole process took about half an hour.

Dr. Shi was really nice. She was very knowledgeable and patient. She answered all my questions with great details. My only complaint was I waited there for almost an hour and 40 minutes. This is the longest wait I ever experienced. Other than the waiting time, I'm quite happy with the visit.

I have been seeing Simone Abbott CNM also affiliated with Medwell Women's Medical Services and decided to meet with an OBGYN to learn the differences between a CNM and OBGYN for delivery.
Dr. Shi was is a good listener, was very kind and through in all her explanations. All of her staff were very nice and would highly recommend her as an OBGYN.
As a side note you can view and print all of your Medwell test results online so there is no need for the office to call and notify you of the results. If there are any problems with the results they will call you.

The doctor and the Receptionists are really nice now the nurses were really rude and they seem like they talked about you once you left the room but the doctor was very pleasant she was comforting and wanted to a lot about your history.

Many of the support staff members were not very nice or welcoming. I had to test my own urine, which seemed very weird. However, Dr. Shi was very pleasant and quick with my exam. Also, they do not accept credit cards for payment here.

It was my first annual pap smear and I was super nervous, but Dr. Shi made me feel at ease. She notified me before she did anything and made sure I was comfortable. It was painless and hassle free, I was in and out of the office in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend her to anyone, especially the first timers.

My first time visiting Dr Shi. She was very pleasant, made me feel extremely comfortable. She didn't rush through anything, listened to my concerns and she was down to earth. I am looking forward to having her as my new obgyn.

The staff wasn't that nice or welcoming, at all. Some barely spoke english and I was not happy that i waited over 30 minutes my appointment to be seen. Also they never called me for my results. I had to keep calling in and they kept telling me to call back in a few days. It took over 3 weeks to receive my results. So never again and probably will go for a second opinion.
