This doctor is well meaning, and smart, but a poor listener and garbled communicator. She is chatty and tends to talktoo much about herself and what's on her mind, rather than listen closely to the patient. I have had many doctors who weren't the best listeners, everyone has, but I have never had a doctor where I felt so often that I have to actually interrupt and force her to listen to ME. She really needs to be taught the basics of how to listen and respond in a way that shows the patient that she hears what they are saying, instead of finding ways to jump in, make things up, and argue. She seems to have a strong need to just speak about things on her mind, and she clearly needs to dominate or be right, at the expense of finding out about the patient's experience. Very frustrating. I wouldn't mind sharing the spotlight with her and listening to her experience if we had 45 minutes together but of course we don't. I feel every appointment is kind of a battle between us over the agenda.

When reading my patient history she was incredibly rude and completely lacked the tact and emotional intelligence needed to be a doctor. I will not be returning.

I have seen some bad doctors, but she was the worst. Completely dismissive of what I was saying and talked over me a lot. She insulted the pain management doctor I am seeing (whom she didn't even know, she had togoogle her). She referred me to a rheumatologist to work with isntead of my pain management doctor, and then told me I will "probably be disappointed" because I am a dofficult case so he probably wont be able to help me. That does not inspire confidence.

Dr. Yeh is an extremely kind and helpful doctor. She sat down and helped find the root of any problems I had. Not only that, but helped me in forming a plan to tackle those issues rather than just giving mepapers about it. Her staff is equally kind and attentive. I’m not the biggest fan of going to the doctor’s but Dr. Yeh just changed that about me. She’s fantastic!

I do not see Dr. Yeh that often because I am the patient of one of her colleagues in the same clinic. I like her very much for not only medical advice but a "life" therapy lesson as well. She is terrific!

I had Cervical and Lumbar MRI done in February, 2017. I sought a local renown neurosurgeon's opinions and he relayed to me I have several levels of herniated discs on my cervical spines and need complicated surgery. But I and myhusband had 2 months' travel plans set and were not able to cancel in last minutes so I follow-up on Dr. Yeh's recommendation from her review of the MRI report. She recommended cervical and spine epidural steroid injections might provide some relief before I have the surgery. In order to get a referral for the injections, I have to make an office visit appointment. That process is extremely frustrating. You call them and every time you will never get a real person to answer the phone. Every time we call we hear the machine greetings stating that please leave your name and phone number and we will call you back. Guess what if you are lucky you might get the call back next day or 2 days later and worse yet no call back at all. If your doctor is on vacation for 3 weeks and you get sick severely you might end up sitting there and waiting to die. The doctors at Fanno Creek do not work as a team like Mayo Clinic or some reputable clinics. Each physician works on their own and has no alternative doctors to cover. You ask for pain medication and it appear the nurse will decide herself and call you to set an appointment to see the doctor. Do they suspect I am lying even I have provided them dozens of MRI scans, X-RAYs, reports, surgeon's notes indicating that lots of discs are compressing my spinal canal and nerve roots. I still fail to understand why an office visit is required for a referral. I asked nurse Bethany if I come in do you already have any idea where you wanted to send me for steroid injections she said of course and I reiterated to her that we are out of country from 3/19. Yesterday (3/9 Thursday) I saw my doctor interestingly she asked me 'do you have any idea where do you want to go' ? We told her that we are leaving on 3/19 next Sunday and she said if I give you referral today 99 percent of chances are that none of pain management clinic will get you in in one week's frame. As I told her I did not do any research about the pain clinic as her nurse stated that she already knew where to send me. We sat down in their lobby (they even don't have free WiFi like other hospitals and clinics do) and made numerous phone calls that my doctor provided to us but in vain none of clinic can put me in. Do I need to suffer 3 months of neck pain and back pain before I have the surgery in June ??? BTW we left a voice message to the doctor in mid of February for spine epidural injections they never called back. One time I mentioned to my doctor that I have sever neck pain she said your time is up I have other patients to see.

Friendly, BUT--not a good listener, forgets most of what I tell her, appointments with her are irritating, argues about everything, seems to need to be expert on all topics and come out "on top", gives unwanted and unnecessary advice, disregardsmy own knowledge base--very weird personality. Bedside manner really needs a total makeover. Probably perfectly competent except that I can imagine the not listening habit could easily lead to medical misjudgments.

She knows her stuff when you're sick or have a problem she does what ever it takes to find out what'swrong, and then does what it takes to make you healthy again. Dr. Yeh takes the time to "listen" and discuss any health concerns which also includes any life stressors that could effect your health. She gives good, sound advice and gladly makes referrals for any specialist you might need. I always enjoy talking to her and feel confident in her care.

Dr. Yeh listened to my symptoms which were very much like my symptoms when I get a pulled muscle but I let her know there was a difference since it did not follow the usual pattern of a pulled muscle inmy back as it usually did as it seemed to be related more to the amount of food I had in my body as to whether it hurt or not. If I was able to pass the food then the hurt or throbbing in the muscle went away. She diagnosed it as an infection in the GI tract which is what it turned out to be. I felt much better after taking the prescribed medication. Even though it acted like a pulled muscle and was in the area where I generally get a pulled muscle in my back, it turned out to be an infection. Good job Dr. Yeh. Thank you for your good work as usual.

I'm sure she means well, but in general she doesn't convey much compassion or listen very carefully. Probably competent, but in my experience it takes a lot of extra effort to work with this doctor because she interrupts too much, andhas a know-it-all attitude about some things she doesn't really know. She seems to dismiss or ignore thingsI tell her about my experiences addressing my health concerns, and while that may not be unusual for doctors I find that attitude arrogant.

I have to be honest- I don't think I will be back. I know that any doctor I need to see for primary care needs to know specific information about my medical history and family history. While I am glad shecould retest my thyroid and refer me to a dermatologist I wasn't super comfortable when she pressed the issue of birth control - something I am fully informed about and not interested in. She also kind of gave me a lecture about marijuana even though I'm not a heavy smoker and its a legal substance in my state (one which I have done my research on and know the risks involved in its usage). While she was a nice enough person and helped me with what I came in for- I don't think I will be going back to her for primary care.
