Dr. Swapna Shastri is an internal medicine physician with a level of compassion and understanding you’ll just have to experience to believe. She has always been inspired by her patients and loves learning about everyone she cares for while also providing an exceptional level of medical care. She is passionate about successful treatment plans and achieving them together. You’ll find she doesn’t believe in the traditional doctor/patient relationship where the patient does as the doctor says, instead she believes in the power of team and support to achieve the most optimal result!
Dr. Shastri is also very passionate about preventative health care. She truly believes an active lifestyle with routine exercise, healthy diets, regular doctor visits and routine screening can help cease many preventable diseases. Not only does the screening play a role, but talking to a health care professional about any concerns regularly will open up the patient to use many resources available that they may not even be aware of.
Dr. Shastri says: “The Clark is my perfect fit! It is a patient centered center like I’ve never seen before, and I'm a patient centered physician.” She knows how The Clark cares for it’s patients is “truly the future of how medicine will be practiced - new innovative therapies coupled with different specialties all in one beautiful space. From the moment a patient enters the space, the traditional thoughts of how a doctor's visit fly out the door.”

I arrived 45 min early to my appointment, there was a cancelation right before me so I was able to be seen immediately. Susan, the nurse was incredibly kind and a sweet person. Dr. Shastri was great. We laughed, talked, got a plan going about health moving forward. I was very comfortable with her.

I found Dr Shastri to be pretty nonchalant, and I felt she wasn't very concerned about potentially serious health issues. I realize she probably sees lots of patients with a range of different issues, but she didn't seem to want to hear me out or take my concerns very seriously. I won't be returning to see her.

I was met right on time for my appointment! Dr. Shastri sat down with me and went over my medical history, any concerns I have, and I felt so comfortable expressing my medical problems with her. She is kind, polite, and most importantly for me, she didn’t seem like she was rushing to fit me in between patients. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a doctor who will really spend some time with you!

Wonderful initial visit, Dr. Shastri got the ball rolling toward better health immediately after hearing my concerns. She double checked with me to make sure all my needs were met. She created multiple plans of action for post test results and followed up within a week. The office was beautiful and Dr. Shastri is very fashionable, she makes the environment really comfortable! The in-office phlebotomist is AMAZING, and her being there makes getting testing done super convenient. I loved my experience as you can see! 10/10 would recommend!
